When it comes to zombies, the numbers really do the trick. The last two years I wasn't trying seriously and got none out of five kills. This year I got three zombies so far and I haven't even killed anything yet.
edit: now after my five kills I ended up with two adults and five hatchies or so... tbh I stopped counting. XD

Managed one just now, but the lagbeast was a nightmare. I think I'm going to try for one from each biome, simply because I can.

I tried my first 5 dead adults which I killed on 17th, didn't get one single adult Zombie D: I should have four more kill slots later though so I am going to try to kill Papers and Cheeses tomorrow morning.
5 out of my prepared 21 hatchlings turned into Zombies.

And duuuuuude, I already have the feeling that the new Halloweenie will be awesome - the black eggs! The fact that one of TJ's has the code "skltn" (Skeleton)! It will go well together with AoD as well, me thinks.
I will definitely try to trade for more of them. I hope my rares do not disappoint me and breed the staff I need...

I am really liking these eggs, so fantastic looking! Here's hoping the adults don't disappoint.

Zombie wise I got 12 hatchie Zombies, 7 ungendered, 5 gendered and one adult. Man, adults were tricksy this year. Out of 17 adults, 12 evaded! Then of course 4 dusts and 1 success.

ETA- Finally got a peek at TJs. Bummed I missed the S1 stage. Thank goodness for Wiki. Man, I LOVED the eggs but not sure how I feel about the S2. Is that a horn or are they 2 headed?

Got one Zombie out of five tries.

I love the look of the new eggs, and the s1 and s2 sprites are very interesting. Love TJs codes, too, especially "scary". *g*

All my zombie attempts failed. :( 5 kills, 5 disintegrated. Maybe next year I'll try killing some in advance so I'll have 5 extra tries. Oh well, I still have my one single zombie, from my very first attempt 5 years ago.

Got my seven eggs. They're very pretty! I was in time to see the Encyclopedia entry before TJ removed it, and the adult silhouettes were very interesting!

In a couple of days when they start hatching, I will try to trade for one more hatchie to get an even 4 pairs.

I was hoping for at least a new adult male Zombie, so of course out of 10 tries I ended with 9 dead Dragons and the only one who turned was the only female I killed this year xD

I like the new eggs so far, hatchlings included. I can't wait to see the adults~
I got six and have to wait until 10PM to catch the last one.

oh no. the last two years I did only the five kills on halloween and got nothing. this year I pciked up a load of eggs from the AP and let the hatchies die, giving me 25 hatchie tries plus the kills. :D

It's not so impressive once I disclose that I had 34 tombstones to work with. Lol. I have ever been so consistently locked before. I like the end result but not sure I'll do it again next year, it was kind of frustrating. I guess the silver lining is my scroll had a lot of Halloween decorations going for a while.

Glad it's not just me, as far as seeing two heads. I enlarged the size a lot and still saw what looks like two. It's not very well defined though. It reminds me of some mystical monster, the possible multiple heads, the not looking at it too long. But I'm having a slow brain day. Cerebus possibly, or something along those lines?

It took a lot of scroll lock and tombstones to get there. Not sure I'll do that again next year, lol.
I ended up having to go after some of my scroll dragons, when all the ones raised as fodder dodged. Sad about that.

I'm a bit worried about the adults, as the S2 is not wowing me as much as I'd hoped, based off that gorgeous egg. Fingers crossed for the adult.

I had about 25 dead hatchies. ^^" I know I'm not doing it anymore next year, I have all the possible sprites now.

The flared tail confuses me. two heads and a flared tail? or am I seeing it wrong? let's wait for the adult and see.

Got all six biomes covered, influenced two breeding pairs, waiting on cooldown to influence the third (2 days). Whee!

I had a bunch of adults standing by to kill, but I don't freeze hatchies, so I don't let hatchies die. I don't really mind not getting any -- I have one zombie, I don't really feel a great desire to have more. I think I even skipped trying a couple of years.

I love the new eggs, and the hatchies are interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing the adults, too!
