Trade?

I snagged sibling Yulebucks from the AP, and while I LOVE them (I squee'd when I saw I had twins :) ) I don't need two of the same and can only breed one forward anyway. And I would feel awful freezing such a gorgeous lineage, so I'd like to trade one.

I have a CB Yulebuck x F Silver egg.

I'd like a 2G Solstice x M Gold. Or something equally pretty, as long as I have a mate for the egg to breed it forward.

And speaking of Solstices, WHY WHY WHY are there so many hugely messy ones in the AP? They are from last year, they should all be 2G eggs. All the ones I've snagged so far have the CB x something with 5-10 gens mated to it. :/

Can't continue the Yulebuck lineage, alas. (Except as a stairstep, I guess.)

I've actually been pretty lucky with my Solstice catches, though there's definitely been a larger proportion of super-messy ones than I expected! :D

My haul so far includes one Solstice from Gold, *two* from Stripe (yay, even numbers!) and one cute one that I ultimately tossed back from a Pillow father. :D Hanging on to one trainwreck-of-a-lineage one as a potential trade for someone wanting to freeze, too.

What I fail at catching is Holly eggs! Every single one I try for, I miss; I've hit the point where I give up and just go for Solstices instead, since at least I have maybe a 35% chance of snagging one instead of a zero chance.

At least I did finally get a Holly! All those Purple Dorsals I collected finally paid off, and this gorgeous baby is now mine!

I'm very pleased with my haul so far! Caught one Solstice x GoN from the AP, and traded for six Solstice x Gold! Now that two of them have hatched, I'm going to try hunting more. *g*
