New Vday sprite thoughts?

I was truly hoping for something not pink. It's pretty much always pink. And that green background .. da heck??  Not sure if it is my monitor being odd or the sprite but I can't seem to get much detail from it.

Do you like it so far? Were you hoping for something different this year?

ETA - Well that was an unexpected turn of events for the S2 stage.

Like most everyone else I'm looking for a 2G RA egg still. The AP seems to have everything but. I've seen one flash through now and again, but all I'm catching is air with those.

And with all those eggs in there, I swear, I keep catching the exact 3 same ones each time I pick up a 09 or Sweetling to peek at. The dragon Gods are not on my side today!

Now if I could just get the cave to load, I could scroll through my dragons for ideas. Just keeps tossing up gateway errors for me right now. As soon as it comes back I'll edit this. Thanks!

Yeah, not so excited about the pink. And while the green background is gone from the Forum page, it's still visible on TJs scroll. But then I didn't expect anything different - and I don't care for pretty much all of the Valentine dragons.

I was mostly interested in catching Rosebuds, but eventually I've had little trouble with that, caught four 2nd gen RAs altogether (of lineages I decided to keep. Caught some more I threw back to the AP because I didn't like the combination). Unfortunately one of them died while fogged, WTF, as did one of my Heartseekers. That threw me for a moment...took me a day to start hunting again. :( Of course, as a kinda recompense I lucked out and caught a 2nd gen Arsani from Holly - which I traded for a 3rd gen Shimmer Scale. Very happy with that deal!

I haven't seen it yet - just the egg - but that in itself wasn't promising. I was really hoping that this would be the year we finally got a Valentine that was female + red!

I've had a time catching 2nd-gen RAs, too, but I have snagged a few! Including a few I ended up throwing back; actually, I swung by the comm just now to check whether anyone wanted a 2nd-gen RA from a Hellfire mother before I return it to the AP.

They morphed totally from what they were as an egg and S1. I *may* end up not disliking them after all, but I'm waiting until the adults show up before deciding. :P I'll leave it at that, in case you like being surprised by the hatchie/adult phase.

Huh! I just went to look up the S1 hatchling sprite on the wiki... and it's not there! Odd.

I have no particular attachment to being surprised, though, no worries. :D I'm just not in much of a hurry to know what they look like till they're adults, so I don't usually rush to see the baby sprites, I just saunter in when I figure they're about to grow up.
