I tried my luck as soon as I noticed, which turned out to be only an hour after the initial release. For the first frustrating hour I didn't catch a thing, then at the next hourly drop I suddenly got all seven at once.
I copletely missed this release (again) so I went into hyper catch mode... the eggs are all the same, no matter the biome, right? becuase I caught them all in forest right now.
But by freezing a few hatchlings I managed to make room for six eggs and luckily, I was able to catch four in the Forest and two in the Alpine easily during the five minute drops~
I wasn't expecting it, either, but at least I was completely free - I'm still a bit meh because of the Xenowyrms and mostly kept away from Dragcave for the last week.
Kind of figured it was coming, since this was the last weekend in July, so it was now or not at all. I've been keeping slots open on weekends for a few months now. I miss the old scheduled releases though.
These were easy to snap up. Got my 7 on back to back 5 min drops, 4 from one biome, 3 from another. Just looked at TJ's s2 babies and unless the adults change quite a bit, I won't be adding more.
I get it, ever since the Xenowyrms I have been focused of fulling my CB commons goal with AP eggs just to take a break until I get over the frustration of another so-rare-and-so-in-demand-that-it's-impossible-to-catch dragon.
Of course, I didn't get a notification from dragcave even though I am subscribed to the thread on the forums. To add insult to injury, the notification of your post went straight to the spam folder, so I didn't see it till I went to clear it in the evening.
I managed to catch 2 eggs from the Forest and 1 fom the Alpine biome last night and then 4 more from the Alpine biome this morning. I noticed that then (8am European Summer Time) mostly new eggs were falling in the Mountains but mainly old eggs were falling in the Forest. Never noticed something like that before.
