Okay, I love this! Loved the Christmas Baking a few years back, love the Potions Brewing even better.

Collecting things is always fun for me, but collecting and doing things with them is even more fun. I already brewed a few basic potions (forgot which ingredients I used, though, should have taken notes), and one of them turned my Anagallis into a dark version of itself, and the other turned my GoN into an adult egg. Another potion turned my Balloon into a plushie, and one other is now a witch, riding on a broom. *snicker* - this one fell afoul of a sex change potion.

Effects last up to 24 hours. *g*

Have you already tried something? How's your breeding going? I'm already locked, at least until my friend collects their egg and hatchie, then I have one more slot open. Either to breed for others, or to hunt on the AP.

Sorry to say I'm having kind of a hard time getting into it this year. I've collected some potion ingredients but doesn't seem like any of them combine with the others I've gotten. Oh well. I like collecting the trick or treats.

I've been doing some AP hunting and did find one thing I've been looking for: a descendant of one of Marri's pink pumpkins. I have some stuff to breed but I haven't gotten myself organized to do it yet.

Yeah, I liked that effect, too. Making my dragons sparkle was fun, as well. Or turning them into mushrooms and pumpkins.

I like this way better than the silly costumes of the past years. They often looked so ugly, and they looked like that for days. So having the effects only last about 24 hours, and getting to choose on which dragon to use them (or if we use them at all), is so much better.

I turned all my Balloons into plushies now, and turned all my female Golds into male ones. They look so much better like that! *g*

Of course there would be a spriter's alt for the Pumpkins, too. Why didn't I think of that? *g*

There didn't used to be -- I think it was only a couple of years ago that Marrionetta got alts for her Pumpkins and Yulebucks. They didn't do spriter's alts when those dragons first came out. I'd love to have a dragon with her Yulebuck alt in its lineage, too -- it's also pink!

I want to do the sparkle and the Balloon plushie, too. I don't know if I have the ingredients yet, I'll have to go check.

Right now I'm trying to find out how many potions are possible by brewing and keeping one of each on the shelf. The rest I get to try out.

My favourite potion is the one that turns the Yoshi dragons into real looking Dinos.

I'm having more fun seeing the effects than making the potions and testing the effects myself, mostly because my luck hasn't been that good between getting the same ingredients over and over (and so far none which can be combined) and the persistent get error.

Yeah, that get error. Had my problems with that one, too. But then I noticed, that when I get back and reload, I not only get that ingredient but immediately afterwards get another one, too. Worked great for me!
