Is everyone almost ready for Halloween breeding? It starts the 25th!

Ah, I was wondering. And looking at my calendar. *g*

I'm kinda ready? I did have a quick look which lineages I needed to breed and which ones I wouldn't continue, and noticed that I messed up and missed my last chance at Silver Heralds before Halloween. So I will have to wait a year to continue this one.

Tentatively thinking about new lineages, too. Maybe I'll catch some new interesting stuff from the AP. I'm limited in my breeding because I dislike most of the Halloween dragons.

I'm not really prepared, either. I have at least managed to arrange a bunch of trades, but I haven't done my usual routine of laying out exactly which lineages I'm going to breed on which day, etc.

Sympathies on the Lunar thing. I tried to breed a needed blue Lunar mate for something on the last window of opportunity, but they didn't produce an egg. :/ Lunars, why so pretty and so annoying at once?

Good luck in the AP! I'll be browsing, too, but for old lineages -- I thought I was one more generation from done with a certain lineage, but then I discovered an inbreeding issue (fortunately very fixable, though not quite fixable in time for the holoday) and in the course of trying to fix it acquired a lot more 2G lineage fodder of the non-holiday sort. So I'll be trying to find holiday mates for them in the AP this year. (Purple Nebula x Cavern Lurker - if you catch one, I'd be happy to trade something for it!)
