I was boggled at how easy this drop was. I went into the desert biome at 5 minutes before 11pm PST, and there was already eggs there and only 8 people. I got all 7 in about 2 minutes. And I have a really slow connection. I'm amazed and so happy! :)

me too! I'm ususally extremely unsuccessfull at halloween drops and I'm just so psyched. according to the forums, there was a great rush at midnight and I guess most already had their eggs when I came on. I caught mine in desert and forest. :)
biomes in general are pretty helpful. I remember when there was only three egg slots in total, it was hopeless.

OMG, yes. I was up early (05.50h in Germany) and decided to give it a try. Went to the jungle biome and there were only ten people there. Got six eggs in less than five minutes.

Once my last remaining Marrow egg hatches - in a few hours - I'm going to try for a seventh. But even if I don't get one then, I'm already *so happy*!

armahgawd that is early! I got up at 7:40 (same time zone) and felt like I was up super soon.

*g* I get up at 4.40h - 05.00h on work days, so it wasn't hard to decide to go egg hunting when I woke up then. But I went back to bed afterwards and slept for three more hours. Weekends are ♥

Heh. I was there for the midnight drop -- I'm on Pacific time, so midnight Cave Time is 9 PM for me. There were around 100 - 150 people in each biome at first, and it was laggy as heck, but I still managed to catch 6 on the first drop and my seventh on the 10-minute drop.

Then I checked in at the next hour, and was surprised to see only 10-20 people per biome. I suspect the storm had a lot to do with it -- huge numbers of people on the East Coast are still without power, and TJ did say traffic was still down. I've never seen a limited edition drop with so few people. Good for us, but bad for the folks recovering from the storm. I will probably hang onto at least one of my eggs to gift to someone who wasn't able to make it to the release.

it seems like most people got their eggs in the first rush and it was pretty calm afterwards, yes.
I think a couple people also said they were going to be away during the weekend. but for me it was better now because during the week I can not play, so I'm glad the drop was today. ^^"

Oh gawds, I do not miss the old cave. It was HORRIBLE during special drops. I was lucky to get 1 egg. Of course the egg limit per scroll was lower then too, which also sucked! I miss some things about the old cave of 4 years ago, but that is not one of them. *grin*

I'm so sorry. the egg got too many views and I had to fog it which broke the trade. I can't log in right now either so it has to stay fogged for now.
