The new egg is dropping in the Volcano:

This plain-looking egg has faint speckles.

ETA: I have clicked on the Breed action of the new Bloodscale dragons (mine just grew up), and the old Splits appear on the list, yay!

Got my two! Whew, I'm glad that's over. Now I need to try to trade for one more each of the Red and Green coppers. I can probably catch the others, but the coppers look to be rare.

Got one, have to wait one/two more hours until my coppers hatch, then I'll try to get another. I hope I'll be able to catch another red and brown copper today, too.

Argh, please no. I already have enough trouble catching rares as it is.

I try to get two CB pairs of each breed, so I still have some collecting to do, too. But I think I'll just try for one pair of each color of coppers for now.

Ah! Quote from Fiona Bluefire on the rarity of the coppers:

"I"m just going to go on record now and say these are not classed as rares. They were never intended to be rare, despite what some think they remember seeing. They were intended to be fairly common (not cave blocker common) and I checked with TJ to make sure I was allowed to say that THEY ARE NOT RARE! Cuz they're not. A bit uncommon, maybe.

I can't control how hard they become to catch due to popularity, but they are not gold/silver rare."

Whew! That's a relief!

Oh, good to know! Thanks - I'm a lot more relaxed now.

Haha, yeah, my first just grew up, too - and that's the first thing I tried, as well.

So excited that the Splits can be bred with something other than each other *finally*!

Am trying to catch one last Plain Looking one for my mom since she's egglocked, but I've got one last copper that refuses to hatch. *kicks it*

I still need one last green copper (oy vey) and to find some time/space to breed Hell Horses. Thank goodness I went on a Horse spree when they first came out and needed CB Hellfires for a metal lineage way before this. :)

Oh, that's great to know! I just hope they're not Blusang Rare either. I swear those are harder to come by now than Silvers or Golds!

Ugh, yeah, that's probably going to be the problem over all. I just tried to look for one for my mom (we just swapped a Day 7 egg for her sole green one), and didn't see one anywhere. The coastal area was moving a bit -- saw several black caps and several saltys, but I got her another Day 7 in the Volcano area since I don't have much patience today.

I hope that, if nothing else, the Coppers might yield different colors when bred, kind of like the Stripes or the Dorsals. Otherwise...ugh. Nightmare.

I'll try the No Google Analytics on my FF too.

The cave is lagging like no one's business though. I can't even check my scroll without having to wait like 15-30 seconds between refreshes. *kicks it*
