I haven't managed to breed a single Shimmer since the beginning of June. I have also noticed that two of my 5th gen Summers for my 9th gen Seasonal project are related, so that may mean a couple more years till completion. Between that, and my annoyance at the "not rare" CB Coppers, I am feeling quite meh about Dragoncave. The new dragons are fine - I don't hate them, I but don't love them either.

Anyway. I've bred this beautiful 3rd even gen Silver, is anybody interested?

Now that I have more than two shimmers I've started to have difficulties with breeding, too. Two of mine have produced eggs everytime I bred them, but only the common parent egg. Others produce Shimmers almost every other week. One pair refused each other right away, others simply show no interest. This week my bronze/Frill had no interest, too, so I'll have to make you wait again.

I don't like the new dragons very much, although the colours of the Bleeding Moon are very pretty. At least I had a super-easy time catching all I needed.

Yeah, the CB Coppers...I sometimes see people offering them up for trade, but so far I've seen more silver and gold metallics in the cave than Coppers. Hrmpf.

The whole Copper thing is just a major headache. I've seen none drop since the birthday thing, and like other people, I've seen more golds and silvers (not that I've been able to catch any) in the interim. I've even seen (and missed) dinos and a chicken! Just not coppers, and no blusangs.

The Silver's lovely. I'll take it if no one else wants it.

My shimmers haven't been very helpful either, although my first gold just gave me an egg after 2 week so I can't complain terribly.

Got it! Thank you so much!

I totally agree with you about the copper craziness (esp with 3 variations) but on top of that, the spriter says that they were not supposed to be rare at all, and TJ keeps claiming that there's no problem with them, but they're rarer than hens teeth which is ridiculous. I see people on the Forums claiming they've seen or found one, but I have yet to since they first dropped. What's worse is their breeding is really screwy when it comes to colours, and because it was day 6 of that insane week, my mom ran out of room and didn't get any greens, and she ran out pinks (granted, partially her fault for not getting more) so they gendered wrong for her so 2 brown females, 2 red males. So all she can breed is browns. I gave her my one and only 2G green (since then, my green female has not cooperated) and since no one knew about the weird breeding patterns, that one was a male too -- so she can't breed any greens. Or hasn't yet. It definitely put a pall over the rest of the week, esp since they were the prettiest dragons (IMHO) from the whole week. Not to mention the ones with the least bizarre name. ;)

I definitely would. I'll have room for one in about 12 hours. She's not that worried about generations so much as having one of each on her scroll, so hopefully I can breed her more.

I know alllllllllllll about bad shimmer breeding :(
The coppers, I only have two colors as well, and haven't seen any in the cave - but I don't have that much time as well.
