Christmas is upon us

There's a snow fort game this year running through 1/2 which looks fun, and breeding is happening now. (No end date listed). New dragons will be falling from 12/25-28. There will be a two egg limit on the new eggs, but now you can catch as many of the bred eggs from past years as you want. Right now the AP is lagging for me so badly that I can't even misclick without getting a message telling me the egg I want isn't there.

If anyone wants any 2G Holiday eggs (other than a Holly), let me know. I haven't bred mine yet. I have to wait until tomorrow night for my current eggs to hatch.

I have one Holly and would love to swap for a second egg if anyone is willing, but mine is kind of messy (beggars can't be choosers).

I'd love to have 2nd gens from old dragons - mine are also available for breeding, if anyone is interested in swapping.

I'll definitely be up for swapping as soon as I get some room on my scroll. I didn't think there'd be an expansion of the 2-per-scroll rule, so picked up stuff/bred things thinking they'd be long gone by next week. :p

Most of my eggs should be hatching in the next few hours. I also have a stupid silver tinsel that still hasn't hatched and it's at 3:20. *pokes it* So soon!

I have 1 Yulebuck, 2 of everything else (except for Hollys, obviously). Let me know if there's anything in particular you want me to breed them with.

I'm already out of breeding material, all my Christmas Dragons were promised a while back. But I'd love to get a chance at a Holly - have seen lots of them on the AP already, but right now I'm at work. Really looking forward to going home to my fast connection. *g*

What, did TJ really raise the limit on Holiday dragons? Wow! I have to take a closer look. (Does this mean we can keep our own bred eggs on our scrolls without having them auto-abandon, too?)

Yeah, we can now actually keep one of our eggs per breeding like any other eggs. So that's a good thing. Some people are freaking out because they think it's "just like Halloween" but it's not -- there's still going to be a 2-egg-per-scroll limit on CB eggs, and no one has more than 7 slots or 6/7 days to raise them. Sheesh.

I've seen a lot of Hollys in the AP, and I do have a decent connection, but I can't catch anything. The lag is so bad that I suspect that by the time the damn page actually loads for me, the eggs are long gone.

I definitely would prefer to swap with people rather than spend time catching things, only not to get them OR to finally get something and have it be a mess. :)

Huh, that's actually a neat solution. Having a limit of 2 CBs, but beeing able to keep/pick up bred eggs will do a lot towards pretty even gen lineages. I even might get interested once Valentines Day comes around.

I'm hoping the same is true for Valentine's Day. My first year's Vdays are 2G because I wasn't able to catch them the year they came out due to lag and cave-related stupidity, but everything else are CB. This should be fun.

So that was you. *g* Well, it leveled me up, so I'm okay right now. I only do anonymous/random bombings for a start.

ETA: Okay, now that I understand the game I'm not going to do anonymous hits any more. If fighting is the only way to level up, go ahead and throw all the snow at me. *g*

How messy is your Holly? After hours of clicking at the AP - my finger hurt - I managed to get one from the forum.
Lineage is also messy but it's not inbred.

I haven't bred her yet, but really would like to swap an egg for an egg (or a hatchling). I'm trying desperate to catch another one on the AP but given my luck (or lack thereof) over the past 3 years, I'm not too hopeful.

Hopefully another one will. I was able to trade a 2G Yulebuck for another one which was slightly messy from Feliz Navidad. Just hoping to catch something on my own (yeah, yeah, I am delusional). :)

Interesting! When I bred my Yulebuck and got two eggs, I still got the standard message about breed limits after "Keeping" one egg.

Huh. That's weird. I guess TJ hasn't updated that message, because the forum post definitely says we can keep multiples of bred eggs which is nice. I like the limit on the CBs though.

I caught to peppermints this morning (not nice lineages unfortunaltey, so I think I'll abandon them) and they are still on my scroll, so you can definately have more than 2 on your scroll :-)

I've been promised a holly through a trade, but I don't hear that person anymore :-( and another that was going to gift me one, but we'll see how that will turn out.

I managed to trade a 2G Yulebuck with someone for a Holly and bred the one I have with my one CB Gold boy, but am still trying to get something else if possible. As I said upthread, all my others haven't been bred yet, so I'll be happy to swap with you for anything. Just let me know what combinations you might like. :)
