Show Off Your Forts

Now that the Snow Wars are over and we're not in danger of constant attacks any more, I'd love to see your forts.

Here's mine, and I admit I'm quite a bit proud of it. :)

Yours is nice!
I first had a "similar" one, an ice palace you could say, without any cute or natural things around - only ice. With a high fort HP.

But a few days ago I changed my mind and went into restyling mode.
It's not a fort, it's a cabin in the woods.

Oh, that's very pretty! I love the little ice river and all the rocks mixed in.

*g* I tried adding trees in the background, tried adding the moat - and deleted them all again. I loved my geometric structure too much, and those things were kind of distracting from it.

Haha yeah, I had the same problem!
I don`t know, for me it was also difficult because there were so many things to add and I wanted to have some kind of "theme". How can you put a forest, an ice wall, a chicken figure, snow kitties, psychodelic towers and gingerbred houses together? I can´t.

Would have been great if we could have had several forts. I would have created several worlds then. But I am satisfied with my cozy cabin I have now :)

Oh yeah, I would have loved to create and keep multiple forts! And I really like the one from your screenshot, too, but your cabin in the woods is much prettier. :)

It would have been fun to be able to do several forts. Or at least to have more room! I'd have liked to do more with mine, but I didn't want it to get too cluttered.

Nice! I rather like the "walls inside walls" look - like inner and outer defences, with a bit of a garden.

Yeah, I started with just the inner keep with the high walls around it, and kept growing out from there. I wanted them to have someplace to retreat to if the outer walls were breached. :) And the log cabin is the barn for their animals.

I kind of wanted to add a moat at the end, but I didn't want to go through moving the outer walls again.

aw dangit, I wanted to redecorate before the event was over, but then there was some excitement in the family and I'm stuck with my ginger bread houses now XD

They aren't so bad, though, I think? I really like your ice buildings in the middle, though. Nice structure, and the trees fit really well.

I went with a mountain retreat as well, and a gargoyle to protect the chickens when I'm not around. :P

Aw, thanks. :) Originally I had a huge ice fortress, then I decided to tear it all down, remove everything and go with a cabin and river instead. I played with that river for ages, and am still not 100% in love with it but it will do. :)

I found the moat very hard to place and look good, and in the end I gave it up, so I think it's pretty cool you got it to work. :)
