Release Schedule 2014?

Does anyone know if we will have monthly releases in 2014, like we did last year? Because until I know otherwise, I'll keep slots open for tomorrow.

I didn't see any message on the forum and as far as I remember, TJ didn't mention it anywhere when I read the past posts. I don't know :(
And to be honest, I didn't think of that at all! Oh no...

I'm wonderfully locked with 2 pretty lineaged Pinks, my first CB Winter (self-caught), 2 Papers (self-caught), 1 Cheese(self-caught) and my first CB Copper ever (Brown and self-caught). I don't think I've ever had so many rare eggs on my scroll at the same time before haha. They will not leave my scroll!
(By the way, where can I find red Coppers? Brown is in Volcano biome, Green in Forest but I have no idea where the red ones appear, Alpine or Coast?)

As far as I know, you find green Coppers in Coast and Jungle, brown Coppers in Desert and Volcano, and red Coppers in Alpine and Forest.

Found the entry on Drag Cave Wiki, explaining the colours and biomes:

Actually, the colors are rainbow, verdigris and liver of sulfur. A rainbow patina on copper is achieved with heat. We decided to use that as the normal coloration of the dragons, rather than a shiny plain copper, mostly because we both liked how they looked so much.

Verdigris is another name for oxidized copper. If you look at the American Statue of Liberty, you see a fine example of verdigris. Salt and high humidity are conditions that speed up the oxidation. The Coast and the Jungle seemed like the places where those conditions would be found.

Liver of sulfur is an acid that can be applied to copper to create a particular coloration. In this case we chose it for places where conditions are particularly harsh, like the Volcanoes and the Desert.

Oh wow, that's pretty interesting. You can see how much work the spriter's put into their babies.
Perhaps I should also take a look at the Wiki in terms of mating and the offspring's colors to learn more. I don't have any specific plans with Coppers - apart from having them on my scroll - but who knows, I might change my mind.

(And I totally went to the Jungle for a Green Copper because I needed to hunt in the cave more and caught a Silver instead*lays dying*)

I'm leaning towards a yes as far as a drop tonight. Well, tonight for me since 12:00 cave time is 9:00pm my time.

When the November one got postponed due to Weenies, TJ posted in advance about it. He's said nothing about postponing Jan's drop or pushing it back.

It may not happen but I'm keeping slots open just in case. :)

Midnight cave time is 06.00h Sunday morning for me, so I won't be up then. *g* But I didn't think about postponing anything, I'm simply not sure if he'll keep to the same schedule in 2014, too. Or if he decided that fewer new releases were better.

I'm guessing he will stick with it. There has to be a pretty impressive back stock of created but never released dragons floating around. :P

Germany *g* Usually it works out fine for me, though. When I'm up and online, most of the midnight crowd has gone to bed and there's no lag any more.
