2nd-gen Purple Dorsal from Nhiostrife?

I bred this the other day, mostly as an experiment, and I like it! Alas, none of my other pairs gave me a Dorsal egg to be its future mate. Would anybody here be able to breed an identical-lineage Dorsal egg?

I tried 3 pairs, but only got nhiostrifes. I can try again next week if you still need one.

I just tried 8 pairs, but I also got only Nhiostrifes (well, 5 Nhiostrifes, 2 not interested and 1 refusal). If you haven't got one by next week I can try again~

I wanted to breed my only male Purple Dorsal but I was reminded that I just bred it yesterday for someone in the "Breeding, Gifting" thread on the DC forum*headmeetsdesk*
There are still many dragons which I need to get more of!

Sorry, I hope you can get a Purple Dorsal. Nhiostrifes seem to be rather dominant.
But I have to say I love this combination and I think I'll create a checker with them, too :)

Oooh, that'd be awesome -- if you built a similar checker, we could do a bloodswap at some point! :D Way cool.

Fun fact: I almost did a Dragonhorse/Dorsal checker, but didn't... because I figured Dragonhorses were so common I'd never get any Dorsals. *facepalm*

I got a refusal and two nhiostrifes and then I ran out of nhios. :(

I bred four pairs and got two Nhiostrife eggs, one not interested and one only in it for the sex. :)

Hm, maybe it's like my current problems with Tri-Horn and Teimarr - they are breeding happily, but only producing Teimarr eggs. For a couple of months now.

Tried my 2 male Purples with 2 of my female Nhiostrifes and got one refusal and one no egg. I may need to get more Dorsals, I did not realize I had so few. Lots of Nhios at least, so if you still need more in the future let me know.

Thanks for trying! And heh, I know what you mean abut the "wow, how do I not have more of these?" feeling -- I didn't know three of my four Dorsals were male till I bred the one female first!
