Will there be a drop at midnight tonight, since tomorrow is the first Sunday? Or will he hold off, since the Valentines event will, most likely anyway, start next weekend, giving us only a week in between? I'm hoping he holds off, because I only have 1 slot open now. 4 ND experiments (Which are doomed to failure, if my current record holds true *grin*) and 2 beautiful gift eggs. If I had to, I could drop the 4 ND ones, but I'd hate to since I have held them for 6 days already.

So, what's your best guess, drop or no drop at midnight?

If he doesn't drop tonight the forum may lose its mind. *grin*

I sincerely hope there's no drop tonight. For the last couple of weeks I have been trying to get the CB Coppers that I need, and my scroll is busy with eggs and hatchlings I have bred, hunted or traded to get them. A drop tonight would really be inconvenient for me right now.

Me too, as I mentioned above. Which means it will happen. *mutter*

He didn't do one last month, and if not tonight, then not sure when he possibly could this month. If next week starts Val event, and week after is new Val drop, which leaves only the 23rd but that is only 1 week after the new Val drop, so .... I dunno.

Me personally, I'd be perfectly fine without new eggs every month. Especially when the new drops have more then 1 new egg. I feel like I NEED to get them all, in at least pairs, and it gets stressful at times. If it was something like quarterly, I'd like it so much more.

Same here, new eggs once every one or two months is fine... and no more than two new breeds at the same time. I am not too much into breeding, but for people that do, keeping up with breeding for their lineages at the same time they try to keep their scroll updated with the new eggs, is a pain in the neck.

And I've managed to trade for that last Copper! :D

Woot! Congrats!! :) Are you doing a breeding project with them? If you need a 2G for it at some point, let me know. I have 1 Red and 1 CB Green pair. And one sad and lonely Brown. :P

No, no project. I just like to have three pairs of CB of each breed, and these were annoying me ever since the birthday drop, when they said they were not rares - so I just decided to go all out for them. I managed to catch one CB Copper myself and a total of 7 Blusang and one Ice, plus I bred some of my Shimmers and traded for some other nice dragons till I finally got all the CB Coppers I wanted (3 Greens and 2 Browns).

Good luck with your ND experiments! I did two last night, got another one to turn, but again it died before I could get it to hatch. Still. At least they're turning now and then.

You're getting closer it sounds like. :) Do you just F5 on the egg page, to see if it turns? I keep not doing that. I drop mine in the sites, then walk away for a few minutes, then come back and hope for the best. I'm a wuss and scared to watch. :P I really need to though, to see if I'm close, with the timing. But then again, so far all mine have lived but hatched out normally. This is the first batch (What was I thinking grabbing 4?!? They are in sets of 2, an hour apart) I've tried in a few weeks. Last time was when EATW was being odd so not sure on timing now. What was the time on yours that turned?

I use AoND's Auto-refresher page (http://www.coup-detat.info/NDER/NDAR.php) to watch the egg and see if it turns, while giving it extra views. My successes with turning have been by putting the egg only into AoND at 2 minutes to ToD. They both turned at around 1 minute. Then I jammed them into EatW and other sites to try to hatch them.

If EaTW had been giving out mega-views at the times I turned the eggs, it would have been enough to hatch them in one minute. But both times I got eggs to turn, EaTW was giving normal views, and it wasn't enough. It would have been plenty of time for a partner to grab the egg (if I'd incubated it and had someone standing by with the transfer link) in order to give it back its extra day. Which really makes me want to get a partner next time I experiment. Getting the eggs to turn is one thing, getting them to turn *and hatch* is the real problem.

Last night's successful turn had stats of 555/102/7 when it died.

I have 4 eggs that were going to by my ND experiment this weekend, well, today. And when I grabbed them I was not thinking ahead very clearly. The first pairs TOD is at 3:50pm PST today, after the superbowl starts, and my team is in it, so I won' be online at that time. Not sure how I spaced on that when grabbing them. The second pair is an hour later, but I don't have their exact TOD. FOr some reason I did not note it down when I grabbed them, I usually do. :/ Would you like any of them to try yourself? If not I'll toss them into sites and hatch them out.

Seahawks or Broncos? Since you're PST, I would guess Seahawks. I was born and raised in the Seattle area and was a big Seahawks fan in college... but haven't watched football in years! Don't have a TV these days so can't watch the game, but I'll be rooting for the Seahawks anyway.

Definitely Seahawks! So excited for this game, but nervous too. One of those "I want to watch but I'm afraid to watch" type games. :P Think positive thoughts starting at 3:30. :)

I'll take them all, since you're offering! I imagine everyone will be watching the Superbowl and the ERs will be slow, so they'll all die, but what the heck, I might as well give it a try!

I got the white one to turn, but it died before it could hatch. I was going to try to force it, but I typed my password wrong and by the time I re-typed it, the egg had run out of time. Oh well!

All the others ran out of time and died.

At least I'm getting them to turn fairly regularly. I'm going to be out of town next weekend (I hope), but I'll try to remember to pick up some for the weekend after that.

I don't think there'll be a drop - I mean, there wasn't one in January, either, so I'm guessing that schedule TJ had going last year doesn't hold for 2014.

I was wondering about that too. I wish he was better at communication sometimes. A quick "There will be no drop this month" post would be helpful. I don't lock myself a lot, but I know a lot of people plan around that monthly drop and In Jan people were keeping slots open each weekend "just in case". They most likely will this month too. He could have hardly missed all the posts last month regarding Jans non-existent drop. It smacks of toying with people, sort of. I know he isn't but still ... :P

Yeah, I've definitely kept slots open every weekend, "just in case". A quick "Doing this differently this year" would have helped me a lot.
