So, I finally managed to get the CB Coppers I needed and, after all that hunting, breeding and trading, I have 2 CB Blusang eggs (incuhatchable) and one 5th gen Silver Tinsel hatchling (influenced)( http://dragcave.net/lineage/2hs7R ) left in my scroll that I am not interested in keeping. I'd love to know what you traded for CB Coppers. All I ever see are really high requests that make me go "yeah, right". Two CB Silvers for a Copper? Not a price I'm able to pay.

Well, Green Coppers are more "expensive" than the other two. I traded three Shimmers for one and a CB Red Copper hatchling, one CB Thunder and two CB Blusangs for another. I managed to catch one Green Copper myself. The other Coppers I got for Blusangs and a second gen Magma that someone was specifically looking for

I agree about the really high requests. If I could catch two CB Silvers I would be able to catch my own Coppers too.

Yeah, that. In fact, I caught more CB Coppers than CB Silvers in the first place.

At a best guess - they're prettier than the other colours, so there's a greater demand. (I know I prefer them to the other colours, and the sense I get is that I'm not alone.) There definitely seem to be more "wanted: verdigris copper" posts than "wanted: red copper" or "wanted: brown copper" ones.

They may be somewhat scarcer, too; nothing has ever been said about relative ratios between variants, but I spent pretty much 6-8 hours on DC yesterday and I saw 2 browns pass through the Cave, 1 red, and 1 verdigris. The creator has said they're 'not supposed to be rare', but that doesn't mean that the proportions are even; she appears to be referring to them collectively. That doesn't preclude, say, a 1:2:3 ratio of green/red/brown (or whatever)!

Oh, they are definitely the prettiest in my opinion. *g* About them being scarcer...I don't know. I've been hanging out in the Jungle recently, and I see them pass me by a couple of times a day. Just now I was lucky and actually caught one, too. Whereas I haven't seen any Silvers or Golds in quite a while.
