Halloween event?

Have I missed the announcement or has there been one on the forums about breeding previous years Halloween Dragons? Is it still too early?

Breeding usually lasts for one week and ends on Halloween. So I would expect it to start on about the 25th. TJ will probably make the announcement a day or so before breeding starts.

OK, thanks! I couldn't remember when it began and how long we had. I also wanted to try for a Zombie this year, but again was uncertain of the time frame.

To get a Zombie, you have to revive a dead dragon on the 31st. The dragon can die or be killed any time in the two weeks before the 31st. (After two weeks the dead dragon disappears from your scroll and you can't use its actions any more.)

I haven't really decided if I'm going to try for Zombies this year. My very first attempt several years ago succeeded -- but not a single one since. I don't really like killing dragons, so I usually only try a couple and then give up. I suppose if I'm going to, I'd better start grabbing some zombie fodder!

Again, thanks for the info. I. Couldn't remember the times for Zombie creation either. I knew the dead dragon had to be revived on the 31st, though.

I tried for two years in a row with no succes, before I got my two last year, and would really like to have one of each sprite type on my scroll.

I don't really have a problem killing the dragons make the new Zombie. I will, however, have to endure teasing for being a pixel killer from my gf. She can't bring herself to kill one either and I had to gift her a couple Vampires because she was having issue, 'killing' the dragon for that, too.
