So, what are your thoughts on the encyclopedia? Have you played around already, ignored, or even unlocked the complete information on a breed?

I wasted about four hours on it yesterday, unfogged/un-shadowed the pages for all of the breeds (except Zombies, for those I had to wait until this morning, of course), and unlocked the complete information on Speckle Throats. Here's a reason to re-install snaplinks again. *g*

And while I don't mind the slow unlocking of information, I'm really bummed that the stats don't show all my previously raised dragons. If TJ could give us that, I think I could love the encyclopedia.

ETA: Also, I wonder if it leads to more popularity for sites like Daily Dragon Fix, where you need a daily click quota to keep playing.

Haven't played around at all, will do it later tonight (husband is in Korea for a week so plenty of discovering can be made).

I do not know how it works yet, but I have three(?) adult Zombies and one hatchling which can be clicked if needed, they are relatively at the top of my scroll. I hope I will have more soon.
I also have one ND and four Hollies.

So, I played around a bit. I unlocked the complete info for Vampires (have 10+ gendered frozen hatchlings on my scroll and then I clicked on eggs on click sites) - bummer, there are no notes for them!
I also un-fogged some breed images but have no motivation to do all...

Good thing is that I have almost no frozen hatchlings. That means I will have to collect/breed them for scroll completion & the images are going to be unlocked by doing so. It would annoy me SO much to "observe" all the hatchlings.

Well, I think this "dragonopedia" is nice for times where I have nothing else to do :)

I've been having lots of fun with it. Went through my entire scroll yesterday and clicked every dragon, and their children and ancestors where necessary until I got the images of almost every adult dragon to show. (I still need some of the newer dragons, where I only have 5 or 6 myself and they're all CB, so no lineages to click on.) I did get all the images to show on the main encyclopedia page, except the zombies, which will probably wait until Halloween.)

Then I clicked a bunch of dragons on fansites, and then I played catch and release on the AP to get a bunch of egg sprites. (Only takes one "owned" to unlock the egg sprite, so that's an easy way to get them.)

I will probably go back and breed/raise a bunch of dragons to unlock some of the egg and hatchling images. It will give me something to do.

I hope Daily Dragon Fix does become more popular again -- I've been using it almost since I started playing, and I like it a lot. It is a great way to click a lot of dragons.

I haven't played with it yet. I just noticed it now, and rolled my eyes at the whole observing thing. There are dragons like Coppers, Silvers and Golds that I will probably never get again (unless I breed them myself), so starting from scratch after playing the game for 6 years isn't an option for me. Sadly, I have no hatchlings whatsoever, so will have to start clicking on sites eventually.

I really think that people who have been playing for a long time should have something to show for it. Sheesh.

Iiiii was just coming here to see what was up because I noticed a breed link on an AP egg! Got quite confused when none of my other eggs showed this, so I ran to the comm to see if anybody knew what was up. :D

I'm... a little amused that it won't show me what an adult Dorsal looks like when I follow the link from its egg, given that it does show me both hatchling stages... and I have a billion Dorsals on my scroll already. (AND and, the outline is so exact that combined with the description I don't really know what they think they're hiding.)

Overall conclusion: weird.

Neatest thing: I take this to mean we're going to learn more about the "elemental affinity" thing at long last, since it's listed!

I'm amused that the outlines get darker on the main page the closer you are to unlocking a particular stage.
