WANTED: Almandine Pyralspites.

I missed the September release but happen to have a huge crush on these pink cuties (Bright Pink & '09 Valentine belong to my favorites too, so no surprise there!). I have decided to better take a small break from my lineage projects before Christmas and catch up a bit on the latest releases.
Alas, the Almandine Pyralspite are hard to get and seem to be pretty rare. Just my luck! xD
Yesterday I managed to grab one 2G PB Almandine from the forum, but I really would like to have more. Therefore I want to try to trade for them. It needs to be said that I love them that much that I do not care about their lineage right now. Perhaps they will get easier to grab from the cave in the future and then I can still get them.

Any Almandine Pyralspite hatchies. I will consider eggs too, as long as I have space to take them. Always have space problems with my eggs. Always. For the Gold I'll definitely take a messy egg ;) - or offer a dummy egg if you need it for freezing!
For the messy Gold hatchie I'd like to have any Almandine OR Spessartine hatchling if possible, can be the messiest/most inbred dragon in Valkemare - I will not freeze it. The Gold has not been influenced.
However, if you need it for freezing or if you need a Gold (a beginner dragoncaver?), let me know and I'll send it to you!

I have a cb pair, so I could breed you either a pb egg, or 2 Eggs with a mate of your choice off my scroll. Maybe pair one with an 09 Val? :) Let me know. , I can't breed till tomorrow morning but peek at my scroll, let me know what catches your eye. Scroll name is same as my DW name.

I just checked my space on my scroll, I should be able to take two eggs tomorrow. So if we have a deal, I would request one from 09 Val and one from - guess what? - Mint please. But please do not breed them yet, not before I know what you'd like for them.

I have currently offers on the CB Ice but I will wait a bit more.

If I get one more PB, I could create 2x 3gs and hopefully trade for bloodswaps. (Together with the one I grabbed on the forum I will be getting an IOU of two more pink 2G PB hatchlings, and one Spessartine hatchling).
As with the rest, I will take everything I get - and I am serious with taking messy/inbreds from the AP as well - but combos with Moonstones, Winters, Horses, Waterhorses, Falconiforms, female Hellfire Wyverns or White would be very very very much appreciated! (I should be able to take 3 eggs in 21 hours from now on, btw)
As I cannot create checkers with Almandines at the moment I will most likely start stairsteps with any 2G I can get my hands on. Just to have more pink on my scroll!

To be honest, I am actually a bit shocked by how rare they seem to be....I do not get trully satisfying offers...I do not get an Ice in the cave everyday (it is my 4th) but the offers make it seem like it's nothing - I am confused. I wonder if I could get more with a 2G Avatar? :I

I keep hunting the Alpine because I want that one missing CB egg to make my set complete, but no luck. I don't even see the Almandines any more. Honestly, I've seen more metals in the cave instead.

Hm, possibly. The trio dragons aren't that high in demand any more. There was a brief phase where it changed - in May, right after the announcement of a third GoN slot for the scrolls - but by now people are mostly not interested again.

ETA: Okay, one pair didn't produce anything, but they seemed to like each other well enough. So I've got three eggs for you - two PB 2nd gens and one from Falconiform. Will pm you the transfer link, collect when you're ready.

I've been looking at the Alpine/Coast lately and I have seen one Almandine pass by the day before yesterday - I waved. Cannot say I do mind much about Almandines being rare "at the moment"(<= might change, like Green Lindwurms), it gives me a challenge.

I traded the 2G PB Thunder for a 2G female Almandine hatchie from male Silver (pretty named parents) which will grow up in 2 hours, the other offers were things I did not ask for. I've decided to keep the CB Ice though, it will hatch in 10 hours anyway. Yesterday all I got were offers with one 2G PB Almandine egg each, was hoping to get at least two. Today in the morning when I checked there was a new offer with two eggs but I can not take them anymore, with you amazing people around :)
For the Tan Ridgewing hatchie I am getting 3 PBs and the person offered to influence and hatch them herself and by looking at her scroll it seems she will keep her part of the trade (*relieved* scary IOUs). I always thought CB Ice > CB Tan Ridgewing but I guess it depends on the needs & likes of people.
Perhaps I should really use Avatars more as trade fodder, also for 2G Metals *sigh*

Oh and, I remember you having a friend who does not care about lineages. Do they need another Gold by the way? The egg is a hatchling now. I offered the Gold egg on the forum for free taking (for people who have no Golds) yesterday evening, nobody wanted it.
I am currently trying to get another messy hatchling for it but if your friend needs a Gold they can have it. If not and if I do not get any offers for it I will probably try gifting it to newbies again or keep it, naming it "NOBODY WANTS GOLDS ANYMORE" (the name is not available, I have just reserved it).

Thanks, but she already got a set of male/female Gold. She collects only one of each adult sprite, and no frozen hatchies at all. We're both interested when she will manage the Gold trophy with that kind of scroll goal. *g*

Heh, yesterday I looked at your spreadsheet again to know your opinion about them!
I am afraid these Almandines are going to be huuuge for me and I might develop a hoarding problem, they rival Mints. The pink and the resemblance to Bright Pinks - in my opinion - does not help. (I also cannot help but think that TJ released them because there was a "bring the BP back" thread)
I regret that I didn't take a look at the September release news thread earlier to see the adult dragons, if I had known their looks sooner I would most likely have started to collect them earlier...

I would have taken the cb ice, but I guess it's gone. If you can try breeding any 2G Dark mysts from pumpkin/dark mysts, I need those. :) or we can leave it as an iou if I need something else? (I'm easy.)
