Valentine Event

Sadly, this year we can't send each other stuff. :( Is there a way to show our hoards?
So far I've only attracted a mildly interested Imperial Fleshcrowne. And... that's it? Does anything else happen?
I loooove the princes and princesses in the cages, though XD
Forgot to say I chose a cb sweetling. That's not the best choice, since it is older than the biomes. I think the biome influences which cave you get. For awesome magma cave, choose magma dragon.

I am playing with a Mint and attracted a Ember. It would have been better for me to take a look at the forum before starting the matchmaking though, there are other awesome backgrounds. Stuck with the normal cave one :(

Yeah there is no option to change it. You're stuck depending on what dragon you used. :(

Ah, I meant I have a cave too but I am stuck with the "plain grey one". Jungle and Volcano looks awesome :(

I selected a Tri-Horn Wyvern named Thorin, and I got a cave, too. Outfitted it with lots of shinies, gold and magic items. And a prince in a cage. *g* First dragon to be interested was a Pyralspite.

I thought so, too. Like it's in the still more rough parts of Erebor, full of gold (I will add so much more gold over the next week!), and a blond (Elven) prince in a cage. I'm reading too much Thorin/Thranduil and Thorin/Legolas at the moment. *g*

I chose a CB Striped from the Forest and got a cave background. I decorated it with a bit of everything and got a visit from a Balloon that left in search of a dragon with more sweets.

I think it's always a cave background, but some look a bit different. I got a normal grey one.

Oh, intersting! I only chose shinies and magic, and one rose from the misc. No sweets and no meat, at all. Looks like this at the moment:

I used items from all categories for decoration. Let's see what items tomorrow brings. Is this event going to last a whole week or just the three days the new Valentines drop?

A whole week! Good thing, because I want more of those gold coins, and they are so small. I need a lot for it to look good. I just hope we can use the old items as well as the new ones.

I thought about using items from all categories, but when I saw them I decided against it. Maybe tomorrow, depending on what's new. I'm curious what kind of mate turns up at the end. The Pyralspite wanted more shinies, so I'm on a good start there with my further plans. Wouldn't look too bad as a match. *g*

I picked a Storm dragon from Alpine, I got an icy white cave. He has a confused Teimarr checking him out, who wants more meat when I give her shinies, and more shinies when I give her meat.

I think I'll empty out my hoard and start over and see if I can attract a different dragon. (Although I started thinking, hm, male Storm x female Teimarr -- that sounds like an interesting checker. I might have to breed some after the Valentine thing is over, and see how it looks.)

Ah man, wish I'd read the forum thread before picking a dragon. It was late, I was sleep deprived. I went with my CB Yulebuck and have a plain grey cave. No other tones at all. :/ I wish now I'd gone with my Magma or Frill. I'm not in love with this event since once you've decorated for the day, you're done till tomorrow. I also wish I could move my YB around to a new spot.

My first save drew in a Desipis, who liked the mana but left to look for more meat. I think I'm going to wipe it all and go another way.

Same here same here. Have the grey cave although I would like to have a Jungle or Volcano one :I
Lesson learnt for future events where we have to pick dragons.
