Fortunately, I only had three eggs, so I've been hunting, but these have been really hard to catch so far -- I've managed to get only one puddle and one gemstone. I'm sure it will get easier later, but I'll keep going until I get myself locked.

One of my trades didn't get through, so I abandoned that egg and tried my luck, too. No success yet.

I finally managed to get 1 puddle, 2 gemstone, and 1 massive egg, and now I'm locked until something hatches. Whew! I'm glad I got at least one of each.

Some of mine have hatched now, and I've caught two puddles and one gemstone. Will try for a massive one on the next drop.

I've got two of each egg now, incubated and influenced as pairs. But I see the gemstones come in three colors, so that's going to be a pain to collect four of each color. I hope they don't turn out rare, like the Coppers did. And they are all dropping in the same biome with the same egg -- I wonder if there's a mechanism that determines color, or if it's just random? I foresee a lot of color trading!

Yeah, unless the gemstones are really common, I foresee lots of frustration on my part collecting all the colours. Four CB pairs + three frozen sprites is my usual goal.

Took a couple hours but I'm locked with 4 gems, 2 puddles, and 1 misclick plate egg. And of course the first time I actually bred anything this year was yesterday, so of course the drop was today. Grr. Had to jettison 7 2g PB Undine eggs. Which means that all 7 will turn out to be Alts. Lol.

Luckily I had eggs ready to hatch, so some hours after the release I got my seven (a pair of each + an extra gemstones' one)~

I missed this until 2 am EST. Thankfully I had no eggs on my scroll, but for some reason, I couldn't catch anything in Chrome. Firefox was better, so just got a bunch of things but of course, older eggs were mixing in so I got a BBW I didn't want. It's getting punted in 5 hours.

I just got myself scroll locked (mostly with gemstones) after 90 minutes.

Yeah, regular eggs are already mixed in in larger numbers. Grrr. I wish the releases were a bit longer exclusively new eggs.

Seriously. I managed to avoid all of them, until the BBW which I didn't even see. I was just desperately clicking on FF because with Chrome, I couldn't catch anything which is just plain annoying. Now I have to wait 5 hours to get a replacement IF I can.

It also does annoy me that the new release threads never send you notices when they happen. My actual life is very very stressful these days, so I don't have a lot of time to check the site constantly. Getting a notice 12 hours ago that there were new eggs would've been very helpful. :(

I think that there's a policy of not sending out notifications for the new releases. Ever. Which is just another one of TJ's stupid ideas if true.

That's a stupid policy - I mean, if it's supposed to be a Big Surprise, why even make the new release threads on the forum, or the note on the cave.

TJ explained once that he creates the new release posts in advance in a private area of the forum so they'll be all ready to move to News right when the release happens. Since the post is moved rather than newly posted, it doesn't trigger the "new post" notification.

Yeah, that makes sense. Of course, he could simply copy/paste the release post and so create a new one, but I guess moving is easier for him.

Okay, that makes more sense than some kind of nefarious "I want to keep it a surprise" policy. It's still frustrating though since I can't always check the forum once an hour, and now that new releases are "random", it's worse.

They're still dropping a lot. I just got a bunch (and a misclick) within the past hour, so hopefully they'll still be around once your eggs hatch.

Awesome. I just dumped that BBW and got a condensation one, so Iv'e got at least one of each now. Other than having any clue as to what colour the gemstone ones are. :)

I too have one of each now. I guess there'll be a lot gem stone collecting in the future until we have all colors...
And then I misclicked a thunder, maybe I'll trade it for a release egg when it's off cool down. I don't know how I did that thunder don't even drop in the same biome. XD

Ugh, 3 new breeds and one breed with 3 different colours. So I can collect the ones I need for my scroll goals until the next new release.

I would rather have my old default skin back so I can continue working on my breeding projects (everything looks shitty to me now....or I get headache...or my eyes start burning...).

Yeah, I miss the old layout, too. I hope TJ brings it back as site skin to choose. Right now I'm using the Blackout skin - the colours don't look as good as with the old skin, but at least I'm not getting motion sickness from two different scrolling pictures.
