Refusals

So, number of refusals really takes the cake by now. I used to have very few of them, and now I'm running into them constantly. Tried breeding today, and four out of six pairs refused. That's not funny anymore.

Anyone of you noticing something similar?

I don't think I've noticed an unusual amount lately... but then, most of my breedings have been already-bred pairs that I'm trying to get an egg from. (I picked up a lot of holiday x metal pairs at Christmas and Valentines that still need mates, although I'm slowly pecking away at them.) I have seen a lot of people on the forums complaining about the rate of refusals.

I do wish TJ would consider either a BSA to reverse refusals, or getting rid of them altogether. They can be really damaging to lineages, and don't have any real benefit.

(By the way, are you still looking for Avatars from GoN x Sunsong? I can try for one for you now.)

Yes, please! Either Sunsong or AoCr, both would be great. As I said, four refusals - two of them were from my 2nd gens for that lineage. So I'd love to have new blood to try with.

Nothing unusual for me!

About six (?) months ago I had a weird burst of clustered refusals, though; I remember, because it was about the same time I first had a significant number of Purples and was trying Fertility - I recall wondering whether that was the culprit, if it was skewing (deliberately or as a side-effect of altering the egg chances) the refusal rate!

I wonder if it's that...I usually always use Fertility when trying a new pair. And for whatever reason, I didn't this time. I'm definitely not used to having so many refusals.
