According to the DC clock feature, the moon phase is now "waning crescent" instead of "waning gibbous".
Haven't seen any new moon-eggs yet, but I figured everyone might want to know.

Date: 2015-09-03 10:57 pm (UTC)Any guess at the next moon phase change? I'm worried of locking at 7 tonight, and it changes and I'm stuck.

Date: 2015-09-03 11:09 pm (UTC)I'm kind of wondering, given the odd trickle-->flood appearance of these eggs, if their commonality is waxing and waning with the moon phase! If so, today's flood should indicate the midway point of the phase cycle... Two days doesn't seem like much of a lunar cycle, so hopefully it's 4-5 days (and the initial release was started midway through the waning gibbous phase).
I have no sure data, though!

Date: 2015-09-02 10:58 pm (UTC)I used my only free slot and managed to catch one. It took me almost an hour.
Now to wait until I have more room to go back to hunt~

I wonder if the other two variants will also have mass drops?
