Moon phase has changed!

According to the DC clock feature, the moon phase is now "waning crescent" instead of "waning gibbous".

Haven't seen any new moon-eggs yet, but I figured everyone might want to know.

Argh, in the middle of the week!?! People on the forum are saying these are hard to catch already. And I'm at work, and I tried the 05 drops but I'm on my cell and not seeing anything at all but regular eggs. I was hoping for at least a pair but it's not looking good so far and when I can get to my pc this weekend, they'll be gone.

Yep, apparently. And there hasn't been a big "new release style" drop for them, or if there was it was over in literally less than the span of my workday. I'm having the devil of a time catching any. D:

I didn't have to go in till later today, so I stayed up till 1am PST and managed to get three in about 2.5 hours. Now I am just hoping to snag 1 more, but not seeing any at all today. I'd love more but don't want to lock, and then have the moon phase change again and get stuck with no slots. I truly wish he'd rolled them all out as "new releases".

Good news - they are now dropping like a new release would, so either it was planned that way and something was buggy, or enough people complained and it was changed. So there should be some for you to catch, with any luck!

Any guess at the next moon phase change? I'm worried of locking at 7 tonight, and it changes and I'm stuck.

Well, the release began on 8/29, and the phase changed on 9/1, so there's a minimum of 2 days per phase... hope everybody has a lot of Reds for incubating!

I'm kind of wondering, given the odd trickle-->flood appearance of these eggs, if their commonality is waxing and waning with the moon phase! If so, today's flood should indicate the midway point of the phase cycle... Two days doesn't seem like much of a lunar cycle, so hopefully it's 4-5 days (and the initial release was started midway through the waning gibbous phase).

I have no sure data, though!

I like your theory, it makes a lot of sense. I really do hope that first was done mid phase, because just two days in between would be crazy short, and man the chaos it would cause would be nuts if it were a real place. :p Even with a ton of reds, if it is two days there will be no way to get max of each color during its first release I don't think. My brain is mush this week so I could be, and most likely am wrong.

Thanks for the heads up! I saw this last night when I came home from the movies, but I was too tired then to comment. But not tired enough, apparently, to sit up for another hour trying to catch the new colors. I managed to catch one pair of the bronze Lunars, along with three mis-clicks, which locked me, so I finally gave up and went to bed. Now I've gotten some sleep, abandoned my mis-clicks, and I'm ready to go catch a few more!

I wonder if the other two variants will also have mass drops?
