Yay, finally. I've been looking forward to the silvers the most. Took me half an hour to catch six eggs, now I have to wait until my Thalassa hatches (in four hours) to get another one.
Thanks! I managed to catch six. Just in case this is useful: when I was hunting three hours ago, the Alpine biome was the most crowded with people, there were a few less in the Coast and the Volcano was the one with the least people hunting.
I got 5 at midnight PST, and two misclicks. I was kind of shocked they were mixing a little already. Dropped those two at 5:30am, before work, and picked up two more silvers. So 5 desert, 1 volcano and 1 alpine.
I like them all a lot, but the bronze and blues are my fave. I'm also so over this whole Lunar madness! :p
I'm trying really hard not to be livid right now. I was able to catch one last night before I went to bed. Since I got back online this morning, I've seen one volcanic silver in the :50 drop and two in the :55 drop. Less than an 8-hour flood? Really? Disappointing as hell, to say the least.
EDIT: Caught one in the :00 drop, so I at least have a matched pair of silvers, but I have to start working now, so that's it for me unless I'm damned lucky after work tonight. *sigh*
I'm still seeing them pretty frequently today; I caught two Volcano and one Alpine on different short drops (:10, :25 I think). They're not saturating like they were initially, but they're still relatively easy.
I didn't see any at all on my lunch hour, but I was very pleasantly surprised to catch a desert pair in the :40 and :45 drops just now. Need to wait an hour so I can abandon an earlier misclick, and then I can go trolling for mountains. :D Had less time to wait on the misclick than I realized, and I've got my six. Even got a code that works beautifully with my naming convention for this breed. (I went with a combination of the Heralds of Valdemar and Jovian satellites; I just picked up ASKJ7. The 7th Jovian moon is Ganymede. *giggles*)
Took me about two and a half hours off and on last night to catch six silver lunars. I was there right when the flooding started, and it was madness! At times there were over 100 people in the Alpine and Desert. But I was determined to catch a pair from each biome, so I stuck with it until I had them. Whew!
The first time through the colors, I was just trying to catch 2 pairs, not caring about which biome they were from, but by the time the blues came along, I decided to try to get one pair from each biome, so I tried to grab a few more bronzes and golds on the second round. Still need one more gold from the alpine, but other than that, I'm done now.

I was able to catch three from the Volcano pretty easily a minute ago, now I have to wait until tonight to have room for four more.
