Valentine Mates

So, I didn't have any plans going in, but turns out I caught some pretty stuff and got inspired to start some new lineages, and now I need help with mates. What I'm looking for is:

2nd gen Teimarr from Rosebud/Teimarr
2nd gen Striped River from Striped River/Heartstealing Dragon
2nd gen Green Copper from Green Copper/Heartseeker
2nd gen Tsunami from Tsunami/Arsani

Anyone here who can help me out? Can breed you mates (or other stuff) in return.

I can probably help with the last three. :) I can't get to my scroll right now to check though. The last two pairs I know I have for sure, but I'm not 100% on the river. If you want to peek at my scroll and see, feel free. If so, let me know and I'll log in from my phone and try them all for you.

Thanks! Yeah, it might be very likely - I really have a rotten luck with refusals lately. I needed to switch around so many pairings for my GoN x AoCr x Sunsong lineage, and even more for my Royal Crimson x Ember checker. It was annoying beyond words.

I can do any of those, but all my Valentine dragons are on cooldown until Sunday -- I waited until the last minute to breed mine. I'll try to remember to check back then, feel free to remind me later.

Yeah, I bred mine pretty late, as well. Mostly because I didn't know what to do with them at first. *g*

I have mates all set up for mine, except for the CBs, but at this point, I've got so many event dragons that it takes forever to breed them all at once (especially since I record all my breedings in a database, including the # and type of eggs bred and all the codes of the offspring), which is what I started doing a couple of years ago. I think it took about an hour and a half to do the Valentines, and I probably have the least of those of all my event dragons. Halloweens are the worst -- I've got so many, last year I think I just gave up halfway through and didn't breed them all. So from now on, I think I will try to go back to my previous habit of breeding one or two breeds a day throughout the breeding season. And maybe retire some of the ones that don't have that great of lineages or proper mates. I've already retired all my Silvers and dragons with Silver in their lineages because I'm so unhappy about the loss of the old Silver sprite. I'm sure there are others that don't really need to be bred. It's a far cry from the old days when holidays were scarce and you bred everything you could just to keep a few in the AP!

Yeah, at this point I only breed the ones I need for my own lineages, and what others request. The AP is full of pretty stuff for a week, there's no shortage any more. Which is awesome, of course. *g*

I may start doing that, too. Although I have lots of pretty lineages and I like to share them, and I'm usually too lazy to try to find people to gift them to. I like just dropping them to the AP, I just don't want it to take hours and hours.

How about just sharing the ones you are especially proud of, then? Because yeah, it taking hours would frustrate me, too. I'm totally not at this point, won't be there for the next years, either, but ugh.

Yeah, I'm going to have to either cut down on the number I breed, or spread them out throughout the week. Maybe only breed the higher gen checkers if somebody wants them.

I just counted, and I've currently got 78 Holiday dragons, 79 Valentine dragons, and 131 Halloween dragons. I'm trying to slow down, just picking up a few each season that are particularly pretty, but it's so hard not to just keep grabbing them when the AP is so full!

The only thing I'm looking for at the moment is a 2nd Gen Gold from Sweetling, but I think everybody has been breeding their metals after the Valentine period and they don't seem to be producing eggs any more. I'm not worried though, it's still one year to the next Valentine ; )
