DragonCave's 11th Birthday event started today, with so many goodies!

• A platinum trophy for over 1000 dragons, including extra egg/hatchie slots!

Man, these are impossible. I got 2 black at midnight my time, 3am cave time and after that I tried for another 2 hours and saw nothing in any of the biomes. I tried at the 5s, halfs and hourly and not one egg. I gave up at 2am, got up this morning and it's already a solid wall of normal eggs in the biomes. I thought they'd drop at least as long as last months, before mixing.

I'm happy for the added slot so my pairs can all be even now, when snagging eggs. The rest of the new things I'm meh on, as it isn't stuff I will need or use. New Vamps look nice though. I wish with the BSA changes, he'd added a way to inf or inc in batches, as long as you had enough of the needed dragons to do so. Now THAT would have been useful! :P

Yeah, I had difficulties, too. There were normals mixing in when I got up and to the computer almost ten hours ago, and I missclicked on my third try.

I'm most excited for the extra slot, and the monthly raffle. Maybe 2nd gen Prizes will be more affordable then, and normal folks can have a try at Prize even gens, too.

Turns out in this case it was me, and not DC. Somehow my pc clock was off by a minute. No wonder the biomes were first empty, then this morning only normals. Oops. They were still a bit tricky once I fixed it, but I now have 7 new eggs and one dumb hellfire wyvern because I spazz clicked at the radiate(s) description.

I'm pretty happy about the raffle too, as long as it is something as basic as raising some adults, or snagging some AP eggs. I'll be less happy if it wants me to collect stuff I don't want to have on my scroll, or needs me to keep them until they are adults, versus catching and freezing. Heres hoping we all have some real luck when the draws happen! :)

Yeah, the first raffle sounds pretty chill. Raise three adults until end of May. I can do that. *g* But I'm not going to stuff my scroll full with eggs/dragons that I don't like, so I'm not going to participate in all the raffles.

I'm excited about the raffles, and about the new 'grouping' options for sorting!

Have not managed to catch any of the new eggs at all; curse this slow release and my even slower internet connection. D:

I've seen people say they're excited about the grouping, but I've yet to have someone explain why and what they're going to use them for. *g*
