This glassy egg has a single stripe on it. - Volcano & Desert (two different colour types, although it appears that people have so far only caught the reddish/pink one. Maybe the green is an alt, or something else.)
This egg has raised golden ridges. - Coast

ETA: So, apparently the green version is bred only, and is achieved by pairing the Spinel with dragons that have Earth Elemental Affinity according to DragCaves own lore. So far there are confirmed successes for Coppers, Diamondwing, Gold, Pyralspite, Terrae.

Thanks for the heads up!

Just saw your post, went to the cave and caught my 8 really easily, despite them already being well mixed. I only grabbed stripe ones, 4 from each biome. The other hatchie isn't calling to me as much, so I'll grab or trade for those later. Wonder how the color variation plays in? Thanks, again! :)

I grabbed mine when TJs were still eggs, and the one from the coast was so pretty! Not too fond of the hatchies, though.

I'm looking forward to finding out about the colour variations, too. The green hatchies look adorable! And I really like that colour.

Did anyone ever figure out how to attain the green dragon? I caught one from each biome but no go there.

Not yet. But today the first dragons will grow up for the players, so experimenting will start. I'm going to keep an eye on the forum to see what they find out.

Aaaand people were fast. I just edited the entry to add the information, but it looks like you have to breed your Spinels to one of the dragons from this list.
