Old CB Halloween Biome!

OMG guys, I'm not kidding! This year there's a whole new biome dedicated to old CB Halloween breeds!

I'm not going to breed anything this year, I'm going to try catching myself some CB Marrows, Shadow Walkers and Pumpkins! At least I hope that I'll manage to do so, as I'm not the fastest catcher. And I'm at work now, so I can't even start right away!

Wish me luck and happy hunting. I'm especially excited about the possibility of Marrows, because I don't have any CBs. I remember spending hours in the cave trying to catch them, without success. (That was a sad Halloween!)

ETA 2: Aaaand happily locked with 4 CB Marrows, 3 CB Pumpkins and 1 CB Shadow Walker. *g*

Blah, late to the party as usual. I would love to get some more pumpkins -- I only have 2 CB. But with 100+ people in the biome, all I'm catching so far are mis-clicks of ones I don't need. Oh well. Congrats on your catch! Maybe I'll get some later.

Good luck! It was my second try - on the first round I just clicked like mad and only two of them were ones I wanted to keep. Abandoned the rest five hours later and to my surprise, I caught the others with ease.

And yeah, holy shit! At times there were over 200 people in the biome. Which I can totally understand, of course.

Finally caught two Pumpkins, which brings me up to 4, so I'll be content with that if I can't get any more. Also caught 1 Black Marrow. My usual goal for Halloweens is 8 CBs, so I would still need 4 more Pumpkins, 3 Black Marrows, 1 Cavern Lurker, and 1 Witchlight. We'll see if I get all of those in time to save space for 8 of the new ones. I'm glad we have 8 slots now, I don't have to worry about finding one more on the AP or in trade.

My usual goal is 8 CBs as well. I'd need 3 more pumpkins, 2 more Shadow Walkers, and 4 more Marrows for that. Oh, and 4 more Cavern Lurkers. But I don't like them, so I'm not going to rush. Maybe I can pick up some from the AP. Or maybe there's next year.

Yeah, if he keeps doing this every year, we should be able to catch up with everything eventually. I'd like to get my fill this year, but we'll see. I did catch the Witchlight and Cavern Lurker I need, as well as one more Pumpkin and one more Marrow. So now I just need 3 more Pumpkins and 2 more Marrows.

I haven't even thought about breeding yet.

(Also, imagine what Christmas is going to be like, with everyone hunting CB Hollies! That's going to be a major madhouse.)

That is if TJ is going to do the same for Christmas, which I'm not so sure about yet. But yeah, it would be awesome, and I would totally hunt for CB Hollies. And if TJ did it for Valentines as well, I would finally get my shot at CB Sweetlings. *g*

I already have a CB Holly, but I'd for sure go for a second one! (I wonder if the CBs would be influenceable. Honorable mention Hollies were, but Cave ones were male-only.) I'd also be hunting Yulebucks, they're the only Christmas dragon I don't have any of. Would also love to get some CB Val09s, they're the only Valentines I'm missing.

I would also like to know if TJ decided to raise the limit on the CB Christmas/Valentines, too. I would be all over that! *g*

Yeah, that will be interesting to see, especially if he adds the event biome to Christmas & Valentines, whether those CBs will be limited. I can just see the inevitable drama when there are people catching whole scrolls full of Hollies, while people with slower connections can't catch a single one. On the other hand, while I'm sure TJ could code a limit on CB dragons while leaving the bred ones unlimited, he doesn't seem to like to make that distinction. Well, it's going to be an interesting Christmas, that's for sure!

Same and nearly the same. I missed out on the Hollies as they were before my time on DC, and I couldn't get the 2008 Valentines for love nor money. I think I was away in Los Angeles with terrible internet at our hotel, and no one was able to catch any for me, so this would be a blessing. Of course, it would be insanity anyway.

I was lucky and got in on things soon after midnight last night, so I have two pumpkins, four Black Marrows, a Desipis (which was a misclick but I could use another) and a Witchlight (also a misclick, but I'm okay with that too). I'm hoping I can get more pumpkins - I have two original ones, and I remember someone had to catch them for me becausIe the site was so horribly slow and I kept missing them. I may breed some things and just let them all go to the AC although that might just be cruel if no one is going after anything bred. I need one more Black Marrow too since I only have three original ones, but I'm at least happy with what I've nabbed.

Yeah, I'm not going to breed anything this year for that reason. I'll even put my own lineage project on hold for this year.

I've been lazy about my own lineage projects so I probably won't bother unless someone wants something in particular for their own.

When I first saw your post, I was super excited because MARROWS!! I was burnt out on the cave back then, and missed them completely. (Hollys for the same reason, ugh!) And of course I fell in love with them. I have a few lineaged ones, but it's not the same. I caught nothing when I first went into the Halloween biome. As the others said it was too busy, and I was on my phone, at work, and using the horrible wifi there. The next day I went back, expecting the same but it was soooo much better and I locked myself with 4 Marrows, 2 Pumpkins and 3 Shadow Walkers. For some reason I only grabbed 2 SW back in the day and both gendered F. I have 4 original Pumpkins, but without Inf back then I ended up with 3 F and 1 M. Now they are all evened out.

Now I'm home, and grabbed 8 more. 1 Caligne to even mine out. I completely spaced back then, forgot to put them in hatch sites, they all died and revive only brought a few back. I have no clue where my brain was back then. Then 3 more Marrows, 2 more Pumpkins (I love them too) and 2 more SWs. 1 was a misclick though, so I'll dump it later and go for another Marrow.

Yeah, my second haul went a lot easier, too! I'm so happy to finally have CB Marrows!
