July Release

Two new breeds today:

This glassy egg is too hot to hold with your bare hands. - Volcano
This egg has a pleasant, musky smell. - all biomes, and already mixing with regular eggs
ETA: Wind gusts around this egg. - Alpine, thanks codyne!

Funnily enough, I had no trouble picking four eggs from the Volcano even between drops. But so far managed to grab one egg of the other breed on a five minute drop. *shrug*

ETA 2: TJ did a short update and posted this on the forum:
Unfortunately, an extra breed that is definitely not yet ready to release appears to have snuck into this one. Because it's not ready yet and couldn't just be left as-is, I've converted all of the eggs to the new breed that is available from the same biome.

I got lucky, I didn't notice the drop until after I went to bed last night, didn't want to get up and turn the computer back on, so I just grabbed two of each on my phone and figured I'd hunt more in the morning. So I had room to catch a pair of the newest ones when I got up. People sure are getting testy about it. I kind of miss the old days, when releases would happen unannounced whenever TJ felt like it.

Oh, thanks for telling me! I dropped two eggs into the AP and got myself a pair of the new ones, too.

Yeah, I can imagine people being upset. I don't really miss the old days, though, because it's so much easier to plan for new releases and keep my scroll free when we kinda know the schedule. *g*

Welp, so the new Alpine eggs were a mistake! Now I've got four musky eggs. Oh well, I would have wanted a set of four anyway, so now all I need to do is go catch two more Volcano eggs. Heh. What a mess!

I managed to grab the wind gust egg but I haven't seen any of the other two. Each time I go to any of the other biomes they are empty. Alpine is the only one I am seeing with any eggs.

Well, hell. Oh well. I got all my eggs now. Makes me wonder when those other eggies will be out though.

I really liked the eggs, and the S1 and 2 stages. Especially the dark ones. I was going to hoard those dark babies. Then they grew up on TJ's scroll, and now... not so much.

The names for the glassy are funky, and the adults look so .... odd? And my gorgeous dark babies, while being "ok" as adults, I don't love them anymore. I really wish they weren't in a sitting pose. And the necks seem so thick. I'm bummed, was so excited for a dark dragon finally.

And no dimorphism for either one. Boo to that!

Yeah, the Pyrovar (*snicker*) adults are super ugly, aren't they? I'll collect my usual amount and then I'll forget about them.
