Halloween Event has started

So, the Halloween event has started. I only realised yesterday, and I'm feeling totally unprepared. So far I've been both stalking the AP and trying the Halloween biome, and I've picked up a few pretty eggs. I'm hunting to find mates for two dragons of mine - one 3rd gen Witchlight x Enraged Aegis and a 3rd gen male Marrow x Chrono. So far no luck on that front, but it's only day one, right? *g*

I've also finished the Haunted Forest story, but reading on the Forum I missed quite a few things. There are 24 collectible items, but I've only managed to get 13. Apparently you'll have to go back into the house first and collect several items there before you go into the forest.

At the moment it looks like we can't repeat the story and get a complete inventory, which I'm a bit bummed about. At least I got my badge, though.

I also managed to kill five dragons for Zombie attempts.

I am getting a slow start this year. I've collected a few Trick or Treats and did part of the story (thanks for the heads up about needing to go back to the house to collect stuff, I'll go back there before I carry on). I'll have to check my spreadsheet, I know there are a few things I want to breed for myself but I don't think there's anything in particular I'm hunting for. I finished my collections of old Halloween CBs last year, so all I need this year is to catch the new ones. I'm going to be out all day, maybe I'll have time to get into it more this evening.

I couldn't remember any breeding projects for Halloween after two years - last year I just stocked up on CBs and didn't go for anything else. After checking through my dragons I realised that I'm more or less caught up and rather need non-holiday mates before I continue. Well.

I ran through part of the story but got impatient, so I'll have to remember when I go back to take more care and count inventory items; thanks!

I have the same problem this year as I usually do: there are far more dragons I want to breed or pick up from the AP than there is space on my scroll to hold them!

I also need to grab several CBs to even out my numbers, but that's going to have to wait - there's no way I can catch anything the first few days, I always have to catch my CBs in the last few days of the event when everybody else already has all they want. Either my internet or my fingers are way too slow!

Yeah, I got impatient, too. Also, it doesn't help that you apparently have to go do some things (Moon Tree and tunnels?) twice to get the items.

I did some speed-clicking and hoped for the best, then abandoned the misclicks after a few hours. Have been AP hunting instead, and found some pretty Prize lineages.
