What should I do?

OMG I just got notified that I have won an Honorable Mention prize in this year's raffle!

I don't know what to choose.

Of course, like everyone else, I would love to have a CB Holly, but I already have two Hollies, so I would have to release one of them in order to get another. My first Holly is a messy-ish 10th gen... but I love him and would feel bad sending him to the Wilderness. On the other hand... this is my one and only chance to have a CB Holly, and I would love to be able to breed 2nd gens for people. I could breed pretty 2nd gen commons all year long! And maybe next Christmas I could trade a 2nd gen Holly for that elusive CB silver I've been wanting for years...

If I don't release one of my Hollies, though, I have no idea what to choose. I have all the other Holiday dragons and CB frills and Legendaries and so forth. Probably a red stripe, which would be a fun little anomoly to have, since only TJ has CB colored stripes. I'm sure people would love to have an offspring, although it wouldn't have the same value as a 2nd gen from a Holly.

Aargh! I have to make up my mind soon! What would you all do?

Thanks! It's exciting to have a CB Holly! I was offered a CB Silver in trade for his first Holly offspring before he even grew up!

I did feel bad about releasing my older Holly, though. I hope you don't mind that the Holly egg I traded you now has a Wild father. If it bothers you, I would be happy to re-negotiate our trade.

I wonder if I can ask you a favor -- I never kept any of my released Holly's children, but after I released him, I wished I'd bred an egg from him first, so I could at least have a child of his on my scroll. I only bred him a couple of times and you're one of the few people who has one of his offspring. If you wouldn't mind, I'd love to have an egg from your Holly -- it doesn't really matter what breed, I just want to have a descendant of his on my scroll.

No problem at all! I think a Shadow Walker would be a good mate, but we would have to wait till Halloween for it. If not, I would suggest a Red Dorsal (but it could breed Purple Dorsal) or a Red (they are always handy for incubating).

It doesn't bother me at all that it is a Wild dragon; I am still working on my CB Golds, but they have only given me pink eggs for the time being. They are due for breeding again later today. Let's see if they cooperate while everybody is busy with the Valentines.

I'm glad you don't mind I released the father of your dragon! Whew! I did worry about that.

At least Pink eggs from Gold x Bright Pink are desirable eggs in themeselves! Lots of people would be happy to get one.
