Posting again after a long time:

I have a few hatchlings to give away. Two of them only have a few hours before they hit the 4 day mark, so grab them while they are young!

I am also still working on my gigantic breeding project. I need PB 3rd even gen Winter eggs/hatchlings from Autumn parents and Summer grandparents. If you'd be so kind as to help me, please, let me know the lineage before breeding yours, as they need to be unrelated to over a hundred other Summer grandparents.

Let me know what you'd like in exchange; I can breed most 2nd gens, although my CB Golds are busy at the moment trying to fulfill my Christmas IOU. They have only given me pinks for the time being, but we keep trying. I also have CB Valentines from all the previous years, if anybody is interested.

I don't know anything about the lineage stuff but I will attempt to breed you what you need if I've got it. You'll just have to let me know how. We've got three scrolls going in our family, so if the right combination is there just let me know.

Hi, nice to see you around here. Thanks for the offer, but I am afraid that my request is a bit complicated, and the dragons in your scroll don't fit with what I need. I am trying to breed a mate for Cenit, so I need Winter dragons with a lineage like this one unrelated to any of the dragons in Cenit's lineage or to the other dragons that I have already collected for the mate.

It took me three years to breed Cenit, and I imagine it'll take me about as much to breed a mate, as it is one season per generation, but I am not in a hurry.

Well, lineage refers to the parents, of course. Gen is short for generation. I am looking for 3rd gen, that means I am looking for an egg with parents and grandparents, the grandparents in this case would be the first generation (CB, caveborn). In my particular request I am asking for even gen, that means that all the parents and grandparents have to be there. PB (purebred) means that all the dragons in the lineage must be of the same breed, Seasonals in my case. Again, the catch for the lineage I am working on, is that each generation is a season - all the dragons in the first gen are Summers, all in the 2nd gen are Autumns, the 3rd are Winters and so on.

Some people like stairstep (or staircase) lineages. thos start with a pair of CBs and the offspring is bred with another CB each generation - something like this. It is an easier lineage for rares or holiday dragons.

By the way, I read that you missed out on last year's Valentines, would you want me to breed one for you?

XD Jeez... it sounds like the family history my mom is doing on us. She's all the time calling and telling me about ancestry and how far back they've gone. I just nod and answer in thee affirmative in all the right places.*g* Again, good luck with that. I don't think I could keep up with something so advanced.

I would love to have a 11 or a 12 Valentines. I've been trying to catch one on the abandoned page but haven't managed yet. Thank you so much!

:D My brother is a genealogist and he has traced our family back to the fourteenth century or so on my dad's side and a couple of centuries on my mum's side. It is interesting, but it doesn't change the present.
