Heads Up - New Eggs

New eggs are dropping in the Volcano biome: This large egg is a dark crimson color.

And there's a new one breed-only: This egg gives off a beautiful glow. Forum says it's White + Daydream, haven't tried it out for myself, yet.

And one of them will have a BSA, too!

And of course the bred one is a Daydream x White. I have 1 cb Daydream cause I'm not a fan so that will be the BSA one. *grin*

Yeah, I don't like the Daydreams very much, too, though I do have a few more thanks to my "four CBs from each breed/gender" collecting policy. And I guess that will be the one with the BSA - there was talk about a "healing from sickness" thing, wasn't it, and with the Whites in the mix...

I don't read the suggestion thread much, bad for my blood pressure. :p So I had no idea. If it is that BSA, I'm fine then. I rarely get sickness and when I do fogging fixes.

*g* I don't read the suggestion thread at all (had no idea there even was such a thing), don't read on the forum very often, too. I just went and checked because all the biomes were empty when I logged into the cave and there were 100+ people on the Volcano.

The healing BSA is something I heard from someone here on the community, a while back. So yeah, I have no idea if it's going to be a thing - but again, with the Whites in the mix is sounds plausible. But I rarely get sickness, as well, and fogging has always helped in my few cases.

*sighhhhh* I've been hunting unsuccessfully so far. I wanted to wait with breeding but maybe I'll do that first.
I only have 2 daydreams of course but usually I don't want many hybrids anyway. Also it's probably not a very useful BSA anyway?

Depends on the hybrids for me. I really like Geodes and Blunas, but I'm not so fond of the Shallow Waters and can't stand the Ultraviolets, really. No idea about the BSA, though. *g*

the only bsa i use is pinks tbh. since I can only hunt at weekends I'm not even bothering with the reds.

I just bred one so we'll see. the egg at least is beautiful XD

actually my fav hybrid is the shallow water. they're so goldfishy and their bsa is so dumb. :D

I love the incubate function! Have stocked up on Reds recently - seemed to drop like whoa in the last few weeks, so often that people even skipped taking them. I even abandoned two red eggs this morning to make room for the new ones.

I use influence and teleport very often, too, but I mostly forget about fertility - even though it really seems to work. When I do remember and use it on dragons who usually don't show interest in each other, they tend to breed and produce eggs, too.

oh right, I completely forgot teleport. of course I use that one a lot. and I would use the hell out of incubate if I had the time to hunt/breed more often. but I don't, so... ^^

hah I also abandoned some reds.

the few times I used fertility I got no eggs so I forgot about it.

I'm pretty much constantly online and spend lots of time on the cave, so my reds get a lot of use. *g*

I was waiting for the new eggs last night! I remembered that TJ said he was going to aim for releasing 1-2 new eggs on the first Sunday of every month, so I figured I'd clear my scroll and check the cave at midnight just in case. So I was there when they started dropping in the Volcano, and grabbed five on the first drop.

Then I went to hang out on the News thread while people experimented trying to breed the new blue egg. I have 5 CB Daydreams and over 30 CB Whites, so I'm set for breeding, although I think I'll try to grab another Daydream so I can breed four male Daydream x female White 2nd gens. Apparently, they're not breeding the new egg every time, or even most of the time, so it will probably take a while to get 4 of the new hybrids.

I grabbed another Daydream so I'd have eight possible pairs I can try, but I'll try to get more of the crimson eggs first, I think. Will have another egg slot open in about an hour. *g*

Yah, TJ commented in one of Suggestions threads... one asking for More/Bigger Releases, I think. So of course it wasn't widely known, except among those of us who obsessively read all the News/Suggestions/Help threads.

I snatched a 4d11h CB Daydream egg off the AP, influenced, incubated, and hatched it, and now I'm set for (male) Daydreams! Love the low-time AP these days. With a little persistence, you can find most common eggs as CBs and hatch them within a day, and save your egg slots for breeding and hunting rares!

Tried two Daydream x White pairs, got one Daydream and one new blue egg, which is all I have room for at the moment. So, I'm set until the new batch starts hatching.

Aaaaaand I couldn't resist and tried breeding, got two new hybrids on first try. Yay!

I am back on the net after being on holidays and this is what I find ;-)

I have managed to trade for two of the new red eggs today and I have bred two of the blue ones. I'll try to catch some of the red ones myself, but I am not very good at hunting without a computer mouse and I won't have one till I'm back in England at the weekend.

Just got it! Thank you very much. Is there anything I can breed for you? As I said, my catching skills are not up to scratch at the moment.
