So I was dropping some eggs off in an incubator site, when I saw something that made me very nearly do a spit-take.

HOW, HOW DOES SOMEONE HAVE A HOLLY EGG BORN ONLY 3 DAYS AGO?!

I think the only appropriate phrase here is "What is this I don't even".

Because not only HOLLY. EGG... It's also caveborn!?

It's an Honorable Mention prize from the Holiday Raffle. There were 30 20 Honorable Mentions given, probably most of them chose hollies. (Although at least one chose a frill, I saw that earlier today.)

Aaaaaaahhhhh, okay, that makes sense! I was all agog at the idea that there'd been some sort of on-the-quiet breeding extension, and then when I realised it was CB I wondered if there'd been a glitch during the resetting of the drop ratios for the new breeds... and if so, what habitat the Hollies were appearing in! :)

Ooh, man, frill vs. Holly -- that would be a tough choice!

What codyne said. I'm personally very happy about every winner who chose a Holly. Means my chances at catching one next Christmas are a little bit bigger. If they all breed their Hollies, of course. *g*
