New eggs

All two headed ones (!!). There's a reddish "can't decide what colour it is" which seems to be in most biomes, and then two different opalescents which shimmer in the moonlight; one greenish, one blueish/lavenderish. The greens seem to be in the forest, the blues seem to be in the alpine, both seem to be in the coastal.

The opals look to have adult diamorphism, the can't decides are both hatchling and adults.

The drops are short and annoying. There was ONE long-ish drop at the :33 minute mark which is how I got any at all. My mom's still trying to get one last blue one since all I got were green opals.

If anyone wants to trade a green opal for a blue, let me know.

Good luck! Maybe the drops'll be longer sooner? This is headache inducing.

This is sucking, hard. I get all mine at the 5 minute drops and so far, am seeing nothing. I'm not missing on my clicks, I am seeing no eggs at all. :(

There are definitely 5 minute drops -- I kept seeing them and clicking like a mad woman, and if I was lucky, maybe 5-6 tabs opened, almost all the same egg. But they are disappearing soooo fast.

Last hour, there was a nice long drop at the :33 mark, even longer than the hourly mark which is how I got all my eggs. I just didn't know that the green opals were only in the forest, which is why I have five of them. :p Luckily my mom got 3, so we'll trade something tomorrow.

Hopefully it'll pick up a little bit soon. It would be ridiculously stupid to make new 2-headed ones super rare (like blusang or copper rare) this early on. :(

After an hour and 20 minutes, I ended up with three "can't decide" eggs, two green opals, and one blue, and now I'm locked (also have a shimmer I can't drop). Got off to a slow start, but got better once I realized that TJ has stopped blocking us from turning off Javascript! I hope these stay around long enough that I can get my two pairs of each. It's always harder when there's more than one color of a breed, then I have to get twice as many.

I didn't know he'd changed the Javascript thing again. That's good to know. The lag was horrible, and on Chrome, you can no longer turn off the images for some reason. If you do, there's no visible link. :p

I was lucky and for once remembered not to have any eggs left before the new release. But I didn't know about the different colours in different biomes until I caught mine. My mom got 3 blues, so we'll trade greens for blues tomorrow. I was hoping there would just be two releases and no alts. It's always such a headache for the reasons you cited.

I just hope they're more plentiful than some of the new releases have been.

I hunted for about 45 minutes with Javascript on, and it was horrible. I caught one "can't decide" egg but nothing else. Just out of frustration, I turned Javascript off and refreshed a few times and it worked! Don't know how long it's been like that -- of course, TJ wouldn't mention changing it and people like me were just assuming you still had to have it turned on.

I wasn't planning on having any eggs before the release, but someone popped up yesterday with a gold shimmer they owed me, and of course I took it! I'll just have to catch up with the new eggs later. Wouldn't have been able to catch four of each breed & color in one day, anyway. I also hope they don't dry up too quickly!

Hunting earlier was just a nightmare. The initial drop was literally 2 minutes long. I'll have to try w/out Java in future to see if it helps at all. Other than getting common CB eggs that I realised I never got in my 5 years of playing, I've had really poor luck at anything new lately.

I wouldn't have turned down a gold shimmer either. How could anyone? :)

It would just be really really dumb to make these new ones super rare, but given how impossible it is to get blusangs or coppers, I don't trust TJ at all.

I had no trouble at all, even with JavaScript and images on. Started around 01.40h cave time, and got one egg on each following five minute drop, no effort at all. Went to the Forest for the greenish ones, got my lavender ones in the Alpine and then to the Coast for the "can't decides" - pretty much nobody there. Now I'm happily egglocked. *g*

I managed to get two "can't decide" and four green opalescents last night~

I'm waiting to for one of my hatchlings to grow up so I can try try a blue one, but since the drops are back to normal I'm not sure how hard it'll be.
