The Halloween Event has finally started! Visit the Carnival, play games, collect treats and hunt for Halloween dragons from 25.10. - 31.10.

I am so excited!
I already got a 2nd gen PB Lurker which I plan to influence male and a 3G Shadow Walker from Walker x Bright Pink which a nice person offered to breed for me, because of my Bright Pink obsession <3

Now I'd only need the Lurker lady for my Brimstone from awesome Codyne and I have my pair of Lurkers for this year ♥

I already bred the most important stuff for my lineages and have a trade pending. So excited!

Argh! The dates totally crept up on me, and I was exhausted and went to bed early last night and totally missed out on the start of breeding/trick-or-treating/carnival! Oh well, we've still got a week, but I had several things I'd promised to breed for people as soon as breeding started, and I blew it. ::hangs head in shame::

I wasn't even sure it would start today, to be honest, so I was pleasantly surprised this morning.

I somehow managed to catch a few eggs from years past. I have first gen everything, but it's nice to have some new blood. Was amused and amazed that I caught a pair of pumpkins in the AP with neat lineages, and they turned out to be twins! I also bred all my Cavelurkers so have a set of PB 2Gs and the rest went to parts unknown.

My mom also managed to catch all the 2G Cave Lurkers since she missed out last year thanks to being without power for 2 weeks.

I still have all my other Halloween dragons to breed -- if anyone needs anything, just ask. I can do 2G of everything (other than the Lurkers). I'll have room as of Sunday (if my calculations are right -- they're all incubated, and have 5 days, 9 hours currently.)

Hunting in the AP for pretty lineages is the thing I love most about the Halloween breeding. I was also amused to find some of my own bred eggs offered up in trades on the forum - my first attempts were all multi-clutches of three to four dragons, so there are lots of siblings around. *g*
