I have a feeling the new dragons will be ghost-like. The first thing I thought of when I saw the eggs was a Pokemon called "Haunter".

I could get nice eggs from past Halloween sprites as well. Overall I can say that I enjoyed my first Halloween pretty much. Looking forward to next year ^_^

I have been lucky with my Zombies. I only needed a male adult to complete my set, the first try dodged the blade, the second was a successful revive, but the third try zombified straight away, so I got my zombie without unnecessary deaths, yay! I only learnt today that you could zombify ungendered, so I'm considering if I should try a dino or cheese.

I have seen TJ's new hatchlings and they look like some kind of ghostly cats. Even the description "No matter where it goes or what you do, you find this hatchling staring at you" would fit a cat.

Got my share of eggs too, and they are also influenced and incubated now.:)

I will go with Paper and Cheese, didn't want to kill the only 2 I have ;( but I have 1 year to try to collect them to try for an ungendered Zombie!

When I wrote my entry they were still eggs, but I took a look and WOW! The new Halloweens are SO cute! And I agree, they look like cats now!
They remind me of "Kirara" from an anime called InuYasha, haha.

Halloween is the most fun holiday for me. Got some good trades and caught a nice couple of eggs to continue my lineages, too. 5 new eggs caught and influenced, will try catching two more once my Pumpkins hatch in a couple of hours.

No luck with the zombifying this year, though. After the third ungendered hatchling disintegrated upon reviving, I gave up.

Congrats on your zombies! I tried four, two dusted and two dodged, and then I gave up for the night. I might try again later. Or not. I'm still happy with my one zombie.

Caught 7 of the new eggs in the first five minutes, so that was easy! Most of my past years' Halloween eggs I bred myself, but I did catch a 2nd gen Shadow Walker from a spriter's alt, so that made me happy!

I'm still trying to decide whether to try to trade for one more Halloween hatchie, so I can have 4 pairs. Or just hunt the AP, sometimes people drop extra eggs or hatchies later.

My Zombie experiment was a desaster, to be honest - many dragons which I tried to kill on the 17th dodged again. I released them afterwards (because no good lineages). Then I thought that I wanted to use up all kill slots nevertheless and killed my first CB dragons, one became a female Zombie the other one dusted ;( oh well, but at least I am not very sensitive about killing anymore like before. It still hurts, but a woman has to do what she has to do.

Catching the new Halloweens was pretty easy for me too - I guess the other Holidays will be the same?

If you decide you want to have a new weenie hatchie, just let me know!

I had 7 dead hatchies awaiting today, and 10 adults set to be Zombie fodder as well. Hatchie wise I got 2 ungendered baby Zombies, and then got 1 adult to turn as well before hitting my kill limit with the adults. I was able to lock at 7 new eggs right away. If only ALL new eggs were this easy. :)

I'm hoping to trade for 2-3 more of the new ones. And next year I will start stocking up on hatchies, because those baby Zombies are just too darn cute and I need many, MANY more!

And I agree, the Zombie hatchlings are very cute - I probably create an army next year like some other users did :)

Well, don't forget, you only get 5 actual kill slots. I had ten ready in case a lot evaded the kill attack, and I would not be able to try again on that one. What ended up happening is none evaded, I was able to kill 5 in a row, but only 1 revived, the rest turned to dust. I think last year a lot evaded, so it took longer and I can't recall if I got 1 or none. This is my first year trying hatchies. Like you, I want an army now. :P

Oh it was a misunderstooding from my side then, sorry! I thought you meant that you did it the same way I did.
I had 10 kill slots because I killed 5 adults on the 17th, revived them on the 31st before the tombstones disappear and killed further 5 adults and revived them. :)

For creating an army we would have to start in the beginning of October I think - it will be hard to collect eggs without letting them grow up for a while but it's worth hehe.
I would like to use some of them for headings on my scroll. Tombstone headings.

I let one hatchie die naturally (fogged it after it came out of the egg), and it zobiefyed, so no I have one adult zombie from, and one ungendered hatchie. Also caught my 7 eggs, so I'm happy :-) Maybe I'll try trading to get some more '13 weenies, if my shimmers coöperated.
Also caught some lovely weenies from past years in the AP, so all in all, it's been a good Halloween :)
