I just caught my second caveborn Gold!

That's right, "second" - I caught my first one three days ago! *boggling*

Everybody head to the Cave, it's apparently raining Golds. At least on me. (I haven't seen a Copper in either of the biomes where I caught my Gold, though I did see a Silver elsewhere; alas, didn't manage to grab it. Maybe metals take turns...)

So excited! On top of that, I found a CB Black egg in the AP with four days and change left. :D Oh, and the last week has rained Teimarrs down upon me, so I'm now thoroughly stocked after realising at Halloween that I was pretty low.

Has everybody else had good Caving luck lately, or is it just my week in particular?

Congratulations!

I haven't been doing much hunting lately, so I don't know if I'd have much luck or not. I did trade for a CB Gold, though, which surprised me!

Awesome! What did you trade for the Gold?

I traded a 2nd gen White from Holly. I think the trader was rather desperately trying to breed a mate for her Holly before Christmas, and was offering a very high price for it. I generally will breed commons from my Holly for very little in trade, but since she was offering, I took it!

Congrats! I've been lucky, too. Caught a CB Silver and seven CB Green Two-Headed Lindwurms all in the span of three-four days. Hoping for more Silvers and maybe even a Gold now. *g*

Argh, I just missed a green Lindwurm today, a few hours ago! Oh, well. Maybe a Silver will come my way, instead? :D

Hmm, I got my first CB Green Opals and have all the Autumns I need for my Wayne's World lineage.

What happened to me 2 days ago and which I reported into my personal journal: I saw a Gold and a Silver in the cave on the same day - which is already something - but missed them.
But instead of catching them I grabbed a CB Olive and traded it for my first CB Gold and a male CB Silver hatchling on the same day later, HA!
And I could grab a 4th gen Silver Tinsel and gave it to another person, which made me happy too. So no, it is definitely not only "your week" :)

...You traded an Olive for a Gold AND Silver?! Wow. I guess somebody really needed an Olive! o.O

It really does seem like a bunch of people have had awesome luck with metallics lately!

Yes, I did trade a Olive for Gold and Silver. I posted a trade on the forum and read a trade offer from a person who was looking for a CB egg or female hatchling with an all-numbers-code (he needed it as a mate for another all-number code male and was therefore looking for a normal dragon, no pygmy, no drake, no 2 heads). The person had (all CB) 1 Gold, 2 Silver hatchlings (male and female), 1 Red+ 1 Brown+1 Green Copper and wrote you could chose 2 of them or have the Copper set. You can still find the trade offer here, it's a link to my trade offer and his offer is the second one above mine, if you don't believe me ;)
I had never seen an egg with an all-number code before. But then I went to the Forest for getting more Autumns and saw that Olive. Grabbed it and wrote him a PM and we traded.
I was SO lucky, I cannot believe it!

Well I hope I get lucky again and catch a Gold or two in the cave like you did, that's awesome. I plan to do a male Gold x female Guardian checker so if you or anyone else happens to have the same plans please contact me ;)

A-HA!! I saw that post, actually, and have been scanning idly through codes as I browse for the past couple of days, but no luck finding an all-number code. Glad one of the dragoncavers got it, though; that's pretty cool! :D
