Hybrid Breeding

So I had no idea that breeding Hybrids could get me back to the original dragons, even in the 5th generation. Really, that had never happened to me before, but today I got this. I don't know what to think of that, though. *shakes head*

I'm not sure I like it, though it opens some new possibilities for hybrid lineages. Could be interesting to experiment a bit.

...I hope it doesn't happen in my Modern Talking Lineage, which is PB UV as well.
What are you going to do with it? Do you keep it?

I don't know, really. Maybe yes, simply for the fact that I didn't expect it to happen, as a reminder or something?

I would happily adopt it if you don't want it; I have a soft spot for UV-fails, and after picking >one up in the AP actually went on to breed a mate for it and produce this awesome thing. :D

I'm pretty sure that's specific to UVs, at least, and not all hybrids. I remember this coming up a lot not too long after they were released -- and some argument that they were supposed to be "closer" to spitfires than purples, if I remember right (and I don't think 'pb' UV pairings ever throw purples, just UVs or Spitfires) -- but I haven't heard of it happening with any other hybrid breeds.

Ultraviolets are the only hybrid that can do this.

Good to know! I'm finished with my UVs now, got the last three eggs I needed, so I won't encounter that "problem" again. *g*
