Per TJ's post:

These eggs follow the phases of the moons.
Not sure what phase it is? Find out here.

This metallic egg shows faint iridescence in moonlight.

Alpine, desert and volcano

I am so confused. Not sure if I should grab and lock, hold off, argh.

Well, if he's going by regular moon phases, the colour should change every seven days, right? But with his own world, who knows - he's free to do as he wants, and having two moons doesn't make it easier I guess.

Uhm, I don't know, I understood it differently. Both moons are in the same phase, aren't they? So, one colour for waning, one for new moon, one for waxing, one for full moon. Well, we'll only see once the first different colours pop up in the hatching sites, I guess.

I'm using Blackout, too, and I would love to have a clock there, as well.

Yeah, I'd like your version better than mine. Because if he keeps to a seven day phase, then the last colour would be dropping immediately before a new (September) drop. Or maybe he's going to skip that one.

But yeah, two colours for waning, two colours for waxing, that would work just fine. Maybe one colour drops during daytime, one during night time.
