Four new eggs and a bunch of other stuff:

This blue and bronze egg piques your curiosity. - Alpine
This green and silver egg lurks in the shadows, tempting you to steal it. - Coast
This heavy egg has an earthy scent, like freshly-tilled soil. - Forest
This red and gold egg sits before the others, almost daring you to grab it. - Volcano

There's now in-game Trading, and a Market where you can buy eggs. Also, a notification function that I haven't worked out yet. Things look a bit differently when you're not using the default site skin.

There were some sprite updates - Reds and Seasonals - which I'm not sure yet I like.

The market is kind of wack, Magmas cost more than Golds. From a quick glance, more than any other type. Are some types not listed? I saw some are unavailable to buy, if you have not unlocked them, but I swear there are types missing altogether.

Thankfully, since I got a late start, all 4 egg types were easy to grab.

I don't like the Red update at all. I'm 50/50 on the Seasonals. I'm leaning towards liking them, just not quite there yet. Aside from the Winter. That was my fave of the four, and I really don't like it now.

Yeah, the market prices are super weird. All the trio eggs are more expensive than Silvers, Magma is the most expensive after the Chicken eggs.

There are tons of eggs missing - Copper, Xenowyrm, Zyumorphs, various colour variants (Floret, Ridgewing, Lindwyrms). I'm keeping an eye on things.

I had no trouble grabbing my eggs (about three hours after the event started), but I'm not so sure about the Hogwarts theme.

As for the Seasonals - I never liked the old ones, never did anything with them. Maybe I'll grow to like them now, but I don't really expect to.

Chicken is most expensive?!?!? Nuts! If I'm saving all that up, I sure am not spending it on a chicken. I actually think they're cute, but not so cute I'd toss that much $$ at them. So, most the ones I'd actually be interested in buying, aren't listed. Maybe they will be later. Hopefully. Most the rest are pretty easy to catch or trade for anyway. Not all, but...

It's a Hogwarts theme? I haven't read any of the forum posts yet. Just saw your post at 6am PST and went and got 2 of each. So glad we have 8 slots now.

Yeah, I'm not going to pay that much for a Chicken. Or a Magma, because I really don't have any problems catching those, they drop frequently enough and people seem to skip them. Maybe that will change now with their price on the Market.

Definitely a Hogwarts theme. The house colours, the descriptions on the eggs/hatchies, the look of the s1 hatchies - it all matches.

I see I'm not the only one who immediately thought of Hogwarts Houses... :D

Marketplace is interesting! I just wish they'd be a little more specific about how one earns shards: which actions yield how many shards, and whether there are limitations on how often one can perform those actions/any form of diminishing returns for them, for example. I'll be saving up for a couple of Gold eggs to boost my stock of those, since at this point it's really the only rare I need more of. Maybe a Silver or two, but mostly Gold. (Since we can't purchase Prizes...)

I really like the redesign on the Seasonals; it makes them look less cartoony! Not really fond of the Reds, though; they look stiff and unnatural. Those vertical-column-shaped necks!

I believe people are already compiling lists on what action gets you how many shards. I only know that I'm already maxed out for this week just by picking up 16 eggs from the biomes.
