Favourites?

So, the Day 7 dragons grew up on TJs scroll, and I'm curious what you think about the whole birthday release. Which are your favourites, which ones didn't you like so much? Do you have any breeding plans for them already?

My own favourites are the Bloodscales, the Black Capped Teimarr and the Coppers. No breeding plans yet, I first want to catch all my usual CB pairs.

I'm not so fond of the Black Teas, the Black Tips and the Seragamma - and I don't care at all for the Hellhorses. But I like a "complete" scroll, so I'm going to collect/breed all of them as well.

As a general thought, I was surprised how well the seven day release worked for me. Huge part of the reason were the incubates and skipping the hybrid for now - even with catching more than two eggs I had always room on my scroll for the next new egg.

I'm really curious about the Coppers - maybe it's really just an artificial rareness/rarity(?) at the moment. But I've seen people hoarding eggs/hatchies and trading them for Shimmerscales.

The Olives, oh my - to me they look a little bit like wood ticks. Another breed I'm not going to use for breeding unless someone requests a certain pairing.

Yeah, I'm a bit nervous having to wait until tomorrow to have the next influences back - I need to take care of a Soulpeace egg and I do tend to forget those things.

I think the thing with the Coppers is that with three variants, people need 3x as many for their scroll goals, so they're in very high demand right now. Heck, I traded a Shimmerscale for a pair of brown Coppers. For people who can breed metals and prizes and don't really need a lot else, it's a good way to fill your scroll goals. And it helps newer players who are good catchers but don't have a lot of rares get good stuff. I might try to breed some more Golds or Shimmers to trade for green and red Coppers.

I have... 74 Pink dragons, so I never run short of influences. If anybody needs an egg influenced & hatched, I'd be happy to do it.

Yeah, I mean - it's the same for me. :) Have to collect 12 CB pairs for my scroll, and I would totally trade a Shimmerscale myself. Wanted to, actually, but my Shimmer didn't want to breed yesterday.

74 pinks? Wow -- that's an army right there. :) I need to start breeding/picking some up and expanding. I think I have about 16, but they all ran out at the end of the week, and for some reason, they seem to be taking longer than a week to refuel.

right now, it seems impossible to catch much of anything. The cave and the AP are lagging so badly that I'm not catching anything I see (and it seems like its taking about 15-20 seconds to refresh the AP for me). Of course, my mom managed to catch a cheese for herself today without trying -- it told her it was already taken, but then it was there on her scroll, so go fig.

I may take you up on the bronze tinsel if my pink female doesn't come back fast enough and it looks like time is running out on it. I'm sitting on my mom's first bronze shimmerscale because she has so few pinks and ran out of influences, and she wanted it to gender correctly.

I think part of it is artificial rareness -- despite the fact that the maker has repeatedly said they're not rare, people keep insisting they're rare. Then again, the Blusangs aren't supposed to be rare either, and I haven't seen one in forever.

The Olives are just awful. They look like squished olives to me -- but yeah, wood ticks are a good description too. I nabbed a pair when they first came out just to have them, but urgh, I don't want them!

I am going to be running my poor bronze down to the last minute and pray the pink I need to influence it comes back first. I'm such an idiot cos I thought I'd influenced it, then went and influenced my second (bred) Hellhorse which could have waited. If I'd had any brains at all, I'd have doublechecked first.

The Blusangs baffle me a bit - I had no problems collecting my four CB couples, even if I only caught one in the initial release. I kept seeing them often enough - even traded some CB Blusangs for other breeds I had more trouble catching (like the Tri-Horns - I really didn't have much luck with them at first).

Now, well, it's not that I see them all the time, like other breeds - but at least as often as I see the Trio eggs.
